Apple Pay doesn't seem to work though, which is why I didn't give 5 stars ### 2/5 — App cumbersome and not easy to use *2023-11-18, version 23.9.2023052301* The app could be improved. For example, if you accidentally click rewards balance after entering your gift card, all the numbers are erased. If your gift card doesn’t have sufficient funds to pay the entire bill, there isn’t an option to use the gift card first and pay the remaining balance on a credit card. When using the app on an iPad held in landscape mode, some of the items are not visible. Proper design would compensate for this. Then I wonder who the tip goes to? The delivery driver or the cook? Then would not let me leave feedback on the pissy driver that walked away from my wife mumbling about no tip. I had a tip on the counter but was in the bathroom. When I ran out after him I listened to him complaining about a house like this a no tip. He was so busy he didn’t hear me yelling and waving my arms with his 5 bucks in my hand, but no shoes on. ### 3/5 — Points *2023-10-23, version 23.9.2023052301* I’m a loyal customer. I love UNOs. I’m on the points system but redemption of the points seem to be up to the discretion of the server. Once I went and had points expiring at two different times. I asked to use one set and when I received my bill the server had used all. I was told that I couldn’t separate them. I knew that wasn’t true but choose not to argue. The last week I had two sets expiring within days of each other. I asked to use both and was told I couldn’t and had to pay for the order that should have been covered by points. There should be a set policy for redemption of points. ### 2/5 — Free appetizer! I keep getting coupons for free appetizers but can’t use them as I have a gluten sensitivity. Tried to do the garlic bread app on a gluten free crust and they wouldn’t. Speaking of which, please allow your guests to order the baked stuffed chicken. You used to have it on the menu as a gluten free option and still have the rolled chicken but can’t make the dish anymore without pasta? (Or so I was told last time I called.) I wanted it to check the deals at the local store. I cannot even use the app to log in anymore it’s so bugged out. Website is just as terrible as I can’t even see the menu on there. For the original location on Ohio Street is says “invalid restaurant or restaurant could not be found” when you click on Order Now. For the Due location, it erroneously says it is closed every day. I have told Uno about this, but nothing is done to fix it. ### 1/5 — What happened to Unos? *2024-03-03, version 23.9.2023052301* Rewards disappear, accounts disappear, and when they make you sign up for a new account there is an ”email opt in” checkbox that you MUST check in order to create an account. So it’s not really an “opt in”, as there is no option. By the time your done placing an order, you start to remember that the quality of their food has also dropped as prices continue to go up. This was my last order. ### 1/5 — App has ordering issues! *2023-06-26, version 23.9.2023052301* I don’t like complaining unless it’s well-deserved and my most recent experience with this app has left me so frustrated. I tried placing an order with the app and upon submitting the order the app said to logout and log back in. I checked the Recent Orders and saw nothing there so I assumed it didn’t go through. I tried placing the order again and the app said to logout and log back in. I checked Recent Orders and then both orders showed up! I tried correcting the issue with the Uno’s restaurant, but they said I have to cancel the order through the app. Unfortunately, there was no way to cancel the order, so the restaurant’s solution was to process one order and not the order and they asked me to dispute the second charge with my bank if it appears on my bank statement. Both charges appear to be posting soon. This is clearly Uno’s fault and the frustrating thing is there was no contact info in the app to call Uno’s Corporate to correct the problem. ### 1/5 — Completely craps out ! *2023-05-18, version 22.16.2022101701* App works for average of 1-2 days then completely craps out and you can’t get daily codes for points .
