## What is Unofficial Thames Clippers app?

As a commuter on the MBNA Thames Clippers, I decided to create a timetable application for the iPhone and iPad.

Having built the app, I thought fellow commuters & tourists might find this useful and so decided to publish it on iTunes.

Do you use the MBNA Thames Clippers service?  Do you wish you could simply open an app and it would automatically find your nearest pier and tell you when the next service was coming?

Nice little app - would be good to be able to click on a service to the the route and estimated time of arrival at each pier.

The App gives you everything you need to know about this excellent boat service. It's by far the best way to see Central London and the glorious Royal Greenwich. High speed boats blast you up and down the river, excellent onboard staff make the journey so much more enjoyable. A great app' for a brilliant boat service.

Slow handclap to whoever thought this was an improvement.  This latest update replaces useful features with information you can already get without the app.

Instead of being able to view live times for eastbound and westbound boats separately, we now have the same incomprehensible board you see at some of the piers that just lists the abstract boat numbers and arrival times.

And instead of the neat timetable view showing arrivals for your stop (again, east or west), you just get a scan of the same PDF you can download from the website.

Basically, two changes that make this app completely redundant, unless you happen to be at one of the stops where the electronic board is broken.

Ruined a perfectly good app.

Great little app. Very considerate of the developer to go out of his way to help commuters. The people complaining need to be a bit more grateful or else go and write their own app if they think they are so clever.
