### 5/5 — Sik!!!

Love this remote, great for prototyping.

### 5/5 — As always, a great solution from Epic Games

*2011-04-20, version 1.1*

This has done what I expected, and is a great tool from epic games. I needed this, for a little experiment I am planning. I am going to test the battery drainage UE3 induces at three different levels of geometry complexity. This will really help with the testing.

### 5/5 — Amazing

*2011-04-19*

The team from Epic is finally making it stupid simple for anyone to make games. The tool works great. Worked the very first time. One thing I noticed was that I can not run duel scene while trying to run the mobile preview, but that is a simple fix.

### 5/5 — Great for mobile development.

Apple charges $99 per year if you want to be a certified iOS developer, and The UDK (Unreal Development Kit) comes with the ability to export your gaming fantasies straight to your mobile platform if you can afford the $99 per year. For the rest of us, Epic Games was nice enough to create this little gem. Basically you enter your dev computer's IP Address and specify a port number for it to use, and you can use your iDevice as a controller while your game runs on an iDevice emulator on PC. This allows you to test control, touch, and tilt just as if your game as running on an iDevice. Excellent idea, implemented wonderfully, and it's free! Go and start creating stuff!

### 5/5 — Must download

*2011-04-06*

This app is essential for mobile UDK development

### 5/5 — It works!

*2011-01-28, version 1.1*

Awesome finaly

### 5/5 — Epic Games = Pure Brilliance

*2011-01-05, version 1.0*

My team and I have been developing a sophisticated FPS of the likes of CoD for both PC and iPhones, and this app has made our lives a tonne easier on iOS tests.

Epic, you guys never do anything short of insanely brilliant.

Maybe when our game hits the Top 5 in 2012, you guys can hire me :P

Kudos chums~

### 5/5 — Udk remote

*2011-01-04, version 1.0*

Finnaly an app that will let you play udk mobile games directky from the developer computer.

### 5/5 — Invaluable App for Developers

*2010-12-20*

This app is absolutely wonderful, especially for developers like me who are not yet ready to register as an Apple developer -- this is required to deploy an app to your device for testing. UDK Remote provides a clean, simple way to interface with your UDK Mobile projects with ease, and no noticeable input lag. All you do is log your local IP address and the app pretty much takes care of the rest. Thank you, Epic Games, for continuing to support indie developers so sincerely and consistently. You guys rock!

By the way, I have to ask -- Ph0nboy... what's with the sarcastic review? Save it for the forums; this is not the place.

### 5/5 — Amazing

*2010-12-17*

by far the best engine for indie developers to make iOS games. before this there were no cheap free 3D engines out there. this takes development for iOS to a whole new level. astonishing.

### 5/5 — A full review

*2010-12-17*

With this game Epic has (finally) successfully combined social, fps, gesture, and augmented reality game genres.

10++ for the graphics. The locations have a Tron-like design that just works. Details really come to life on retina display and iPad. Longtime Epic game fans may spot the familiar UDK logo subtly placed in level backgrounds by the games artists. Fonts used in the game seem a bit dated, though they are extremely easy to read even when the gameplay gets intense.

5/5 stars for the gameplay. An extremely addictive combination of the mechanics usually present in this genre with mechanics from RTS and rhythm games. In a first for iOS games of this type, touch controls allow you to manipulate up to 5 reticles at once with no visible effect on fps. The menu system should be familiar to any iphone gamer but care has been taken to place important settings on the first level for quick access.

Lets hope epic plans to release updates and DLC for this instant classic soon!

### 5/5 — Easy to Use. Wow!!

*2010-12-16*

Makes iOS development way easier.

### 5/5 — Exactly As Expected

*2010-12-16, version 1.0*

It is a great app for use in conjunction with the UDK Mobile (Unreal Development Kit) for PC. Simply type in the IP address of the PC with the UDK on it and you are ready to go.

I used this app to control the free Epic Citadel on my PC, from my iPod touch (4th gen).

p.s. The 3rd gen iPod touch did not come in 8/16GB versions. If you don't have an iPod touch 4th gen that isn't a 32/64GB version, then you have a 2nd gen iPod touch which cannot run Epic Citadel or Infinity Blade.
