## What is Unscary AI?

Conversational AI can feel intimidating. It doesn't have to.

Unscary teaches you how the tools everyone's talking about (ChatGPT, Claude, and the rest) actually work, through short, hands-on "reps" you can finish in a few calm minutes. No jargon, no lectures, nothing graded.

You already know your work. Unscary is the part that makes Conversational AI feel like yours, one small rep at a time. You'll move from unsure to genuinely confident about what these tools are, how they learn, and how to use them well.

WHAT YOU'LL LEARN
• What Conversational AI really is, and what it isn't
• How these tools learn, and how they make their next guess
• The difference between training and inference, in plain language
• What they're good at, and where they slip
• Practical intuition you can use at work and in everyday life

WHY UNSCARY WORKS
• Learn by doing: interactive reps, not passive lectures
• Short sessions that fit a commute or a coffee
• Plain language, built for real people. No math, no buzzwords
• A streak you set yourself, and a standing that only ever climbs

No background needed. Start with one rep, and let Conversational AI get a little less scary every time.

### 5/5 — Great way to learn AI!

*2026-08-18*

AI feels overwhelming sometimes. This app offers lessons that help you understand what it is, how it works, and how to make your life better with it. I recommend trying it out!

### 5/5 — Exceptional information!

*2026-08-18*

This app connects learning to graphics and easy to understand language of something that is continuing to grow at warp speed. The planet, space analogy, and printing press is spot on and the games are fun! Ideas are easy to grasp, especially at my age of 62.
