From email templates, a great client portal experience that keeps all important documents together, to valuable learning tools and ideas. I simply love it as it organises all my wedding clients thoughtfully. And also offers prompt responses if you need help with anything. I love how all contacts, emails, contracts, invoices, booking form and delivering galleries is all in one spot. I also love that every client had their own profile and you essentially create a digital client portfolio inside the app. I also love all the notifications the app gives you, like when contracts are signed, you receive a payment, or your gallery has been viewed. The email templates and contract templates are also AMAZING for any beginner photographers. I also love that you can also create a instagram carousel right from the app — amazing for marketing. This APP is also easy to use and user friendly but love how you can use it on a desktop as well. Unscripted is 100% wayyyy easier to use compared to pixieset!!!!! The only thing I wish were easier were uploading inspo pics. The inspo pics in the app are great, but I wish I could upload my own inspo pics from Pinterest. I also wish there could be a website connected to this. The booking form is great, but I wish it could be a website to show a portfolio too. That would be a gamechanger!!! Overall, if you are just starting in photography — you will not regret starting with Unscripted Photographers!!! ### 2/5 — The app used to be great but now it’s just meh *2026-06-21, version 4.8.9* I get frustrated bc I can never send a link to my clients to book or anything! The forms aren’t the best. The galleries are unprofessional looking. No email templates and the email program isn’t the best. The poses in the pose gallery are bad! Maybe it’s good for a wedding photographer or if you only shoot maternity, but has nothing for branding, professional, or diversity. I can get all these poses off Pinterest, what I need is a resource for posing underrepresented subjects. The pose library is also just uploads by other photographers, not necessarily professional. It’d be nice if they had an actual professional photographer develop these pose guides first. ### 4/5 — Crazy Easy to Use *2026-06-02, version 4.8.6* Love how easy this is to use and the premade contracts, guides and questionairres are a life saver!! The poses feature leaves me feeling so secure that I never worry about feeling dumb and not knowing what to do. I do wish there was an easier schedule booking platform where clients could just pick a time slot and book right there, it also would be nice to be able to download posing collections for when you don’t have service at the location, but overall I’m truly loving it! ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — YOU WILL BE CHARGED $199 *2026-08-07, version 4.9.1* I’m extremely disappointed with how this subscription is handled. There was no clear warning or alert before I was charged $199, and I was under the impression that I had canceled the subscription. What makes this even more frustrating is that the trial/subscription is not handled through the App Store in the same way as many other apps. The charge is processed through Apple, but the subscription itself is managed differently, which I found confusing and misleading. Had I known I would be charged $199, I would have made sure to cancel differently. Even if I had been considering continuing with this service, being surprised by a charge of this amount has completely changed my opinion. I am requesting a refund. If the refund is issued, I will update this review accordingly. If not, I plan to dispute the charge and report my experience to the appropriate parties. Please be very careful and make sure you understand exactly when and how you are canceling before starting the trial. ### 1/5 — Fraud *2026-08-06, version 4.9.1* I did the seven day free trial, went through Apple settings, and it said my subscription had ended. Instead, you now have to go through the website as well and if you don’t cancel on the website, they auto convert you to a annual membership instead of the $19.99 per month that you had clicked on. So I was billed $199.99 over a subscription service that I do not want. I feel like other photographers should know what this company is doing. Unscripted pricing has gotten out of hand. They are trying to add too many features to the platform and it’s no longer affordable whenever you are already paying for delivery and booking services through other preferred platforms. ### 1/5 — Auto switch payment *2026-08-05, version 4.9.1* I have had this app subscription before and did the monthly. Well now they automatically charge you annually and I received a $199 charge for something I really don’t even use. Maybe once every 3-4 months the sun tracker. I contacted them with in 5 min of the charge. Filled out the request and submitted to only get a message saying they will do a partial refund and a free month of access. It’s not free if I didn’t get a full refund. And they didn’t even tell me what the refund amount to be expected was. ### 1/5 — Not well organized *2026-08-02, version 4.9.0* I am not really sure who this is for. The idea of a posing system is great, but this comes off as a Pinterest gallery with poorly written prompts than it does a professional tool. You are much better off finding and learning about a real winning posing system than just browsing photos and describing them. I would strongly prefer to filter out the LGBTQIA (alphabet soup) from the library. None of my clients would want to see that, neither do I. Finally, the organization of the prompts are not very well structured at all. You will still need to know how to create good photographs aside from posing them well. I just don’t see any value of this when it looks like it was pulled from the internet and given an AI written prompt. ### 1/5 — Frustrated *2026-07-29, version 4.9.0* I am not interested in this app please do not charge me ### 1/5 — DO. DOWNLOAD. ### 1/5 — Be wary…. *2026-07-27, version 4.9.0* I got the seven day trial just to see if this was right for me. I decided it wasn’t so I chose to cancel the subscription. In the app, I found the delete account option. when I tried to delete the account it kept giving me error messages. I logged out and tried to log back in and now it won’t even let me log into my account. I had high hopes for this app. ### 1/5 — No refunds *2026-06-08, version 4.8.9* I tried the one week option and was deducted the full annual amount at the end. There was no communication regarding the upcoming payment and no options for a refund. Furthermore the app itself hasn’t provided any value. I’m really disappointed and feel ripped off by the whole experience. They deleted mine a day early when I was just about to re-sub and now all my work is gone. ### 1/5 — Stop with all the ads! *2026-05-25* If I pay $200+ and still have all the ads in the galleries, then this is a complete waste of money.
