Their emphasis on pure pixel density over composition, unique perspective, originality and connectivity to a theme severely limits what could be a quite interesting application. I found the long review process for posting of candidate photos to be off putting. The up front lack of definition on rules and recommendations for presenting new content and for curating existing content was frustrating. Now it’s harder than ever to find the old liked photos on the web as you have to drill into collections with no guidance on how to find them. The mobile app now requires more clicks to ‘like’ an image. Instead of holding your finger on the image then sliding to the heart icon you have a much less intuitive click to highlight and more clicks to add to a ‘collection’. This is why anonymous AB testing base on quantitative feedback alone fails. Old, established rules like minimising clicks go out the window based upon small sample testing that is used incorrectly to infer mass approval. Selling out to Getty was the worst thing ever. ### 1/5 — Bad Redesign *2026-01-27, version 2026.01* The redesign looks okay, but it’s unusable.
