I love Untangle firewall. Paired with my robust hardware - flawless. But this app… I have no idea why it exists. My device is up? Great, I know that via LAN monitoring, which keeps an eye on my entire network. Can’t do anything via the app, I mean nothing at all. Might as well just be a dynamically generated text file:(

I was thrilled to see an app for untangle…that is until I realized it doesn’t actually DO anything, at least not anything useful. 

Considering the web ui is basically unusable on phones I thought the app would fill the gap but it didn’t.

Nothing but downhill since Untangle sold out to Arista and laid of every single talented employee they had that made the product what it was. Get ready to watch it turn into something unrecognizable…..

We use and love Untangle but this has to be the most worthless app I’ve ever downloaded.

Doesn’t do anything and what it does do doesn’t give any useful information.   For example on the Alerts it shows a UID which doesn’t mean anything, no machine name, no IP address.

I would be ashamed of myself if we release such a worthless app for such a great product.

I was really excited when I received the email about the new mobile app.   Went out and loaded it.  Sign in was easy and the the disappointment.    Nothing but basic status and some alerts.    Zero management capability.  

Hopefully more features will come.

Have multiple untangle accounts.  The app will only work for a single account.  Need the ability to add multiple accounts and switch between them.

Let’s get one thing straight here. I love Untangle. While Untangle is limited in control, it’s a great product and I am proud to pay for it to guard my home network. Then this app released and I was excited to see a mobile app. This app is great. It provides me certain usage alerts, etc. I’d like to see more alert rich features. For example, when a host exceeds quota, at this time in the app I can not see which host that is. No MAC, no tag, no hostname. Keep going. Great start. Will evaluate again in a few months and determine if I can give 5 stars. Thank you.
