## What is Untethered?

You open Safari to check one thing and 45 minutes later you're deep in Reels. Untethered stops that and allows you to reclaim that lost time. 

Untethered works by creating content blocking rules that block short-form video from being displayed in Safari.  

What gets blocked:
Instagram & Facebook Reels
YouTube Shorts
TikTok (entire site)
Short-form video on X, CNN, BBC, and more

How to Enable the App:
Enable the extension in Settings → Apps → Safari → Extensions. That's it. Works automatically in the background.

The app only blocks short-form video in Safari and not in third-party apps. To see the full benefits of Untethered, delete the third-party social media apps (e.g. Instagram) and use Safari to access these. 

Privacy: There is no data collection, no tracking, no analytics, and no third-party SDKs. All blocking happens on your device. The app cannot see any browsing activity.
