## What is Unutma?

A personal assistant that lives in your pocket and runs entirely offline. One sentence is all it takes: "dentist tomorrow at 3" becomes a reminder — right list, right time, no menus.
And nothing you write ever leaves your phone. There is no server to send it to.

SAY IT. WE FILE IT.
Type it or say it: "vitamin D every morning at 9", "wife's birthday on March 28", "spent 200 at the grocery store". The assistant works out what you meant and files it where it belongs — routine, calendar, budget. It even works in airplane mode. (Voice input uses your phone's own dictation.)

ASK — AND HEAR THE ANSWER
"What's on this week?", "How much budget is left?", "How long since I exercised?" — ask in the assistant's chat and it answers from your own data; ask by voice and it speaks the answer, then reopens the mic. A whole conversation without touching the phone. It follows context ("what about friday?") and searches your notes ("where did I write that coffee recipe?"). It doesn't judge, doesn't sell, doesn't go online.

Hand a task to your partner or a friend over WhatsApp with one tap. When they accept, it's added to their own Unutma list — with no server in between. The "Delegated" list remembers who you sent what.

### 3.15.2 — 2026-09-12

Your assistant talks now — literally.

• Voice chat: ask by mic, hear the answer, and the mic reopens when it finishes — a whole conversation without touching the phone. Answers are generated on your device; voice input uses your phone's own dictation.
• New questions: "What's on this week?", "How much budget is left?", "What's my next event?", "How long since I exercised?" — answered from your own records.
• Context: after "what's on tomorrow?", just say "what about friday?" — it understands.
• Search your notes: "Where did I write that coffee recipe?"
• Filed in the wrong place? Move it with one tap — the assistant learns from it.
• Task hand-off: send a task over WhatsApp; when accepted it lands on their list. See who you sent what in "Delegated".
• Optional morning-briefing notification, and at most one gentle observation a day.
• More questions: "When is mum's birthday?", "Am I behind on anything?" — again, from your own records.
• Small talk: say hello, say thanks, ask the time or today's date — none of it gets filed as a task any more.

The assistant itself runs fully offline — your records never leave your phone. Only voice dictation goes through your phone's own speech service.

This update is about opening the app and being met by your own life:

• Today's Card: one card on the Home screen, one thing a day — a memory from this date, a personal best you just set, or the day's question. No more cards competing for the same space.
• Monthly card: when a month ends, a shareable card of it — how many of its days you showed up for. Worked out entirely on your phone.
• Note to Tomorrow: leave one line for tomorrow's you. It greets you the next morning, and it never leaves your phone.
• Question of the Day: one short question a day. Your answer becomes a memory you meet again later.
• Personal Bests: your longest writing streak, your fullest day. Only against yesterday's you — nothing here is compared with anyone else.
• Reminders now carry something worth coming back for, worked out on your phone. The notification itself never contains what you wrote — only a date and a mood.
• Optional morning summary: one notification with what the day holds. Silent on empty days, and it skips anything that already has its own reminder.
• Home, Settings and Time Capsule tidied up; the offline assistant is simply on now.

As always, your data stays on your phone.

This update is about safety and backups:

• Auto-backup now genuinely works. It writes to permanent storage, keeps three copies, and reads back what it wrote to verify it.
• Your backup password now lives in the device's secure storage.
• The vault opens on your new phone, and encryption really encrypts.
• New "Where is your data?" screen — see exactly what is stored, and where.
• The assistant now asks where to file something, and shows example sentences.
• Encrypted list export and a visual share card.
• Contrast and icon fixes.

As always, your data stays on your phone.

AN ASSISTANT THAT WORKS OFFLINE
You now have an assistant that understands what you type or say and files it in the right place. Say "vitamin D every morning at 9" and it becomes a routine. Say "wife's birthday on March 28" and it lands in your calendar. Say "spent 200 at the grocery store" and it goes to your budget.

It runs entirely on your phone. Try it in airplane mode — it keeps working, because it never connects to anything.

• Shared summaries and lists now carry the app's name
• Encrypted list sharing: send a shopping or task list with a password

Also fixed: day counts were inflected incorrectly in German, Spanish, French, Italian and Arabic ("1 Tage" instead of "1 Tag"). The amount field in the budget screen and a few settings labels were missing in eight languages.
