Though I accidentally posted something that i want to delete but it’s not working. Im pressing the 3 dots but all i can do is report it. PLEASE fix this ### 4/5 — Would give it 5 stars *2026-06-06, version 1.11* Unvale is a great art-sharing platform for me. I like how you can have a community and stuff, but the only problem is the OC sharing. I keep my OCs private because I want them to stay between my friends and me, but sharing private OCs is impossible. I tried sharing the URL to the OC, but all my friends say they only see the placeholder image. You guys should add a feature for sharing private OCs that doesn't require all this extra work, like letting us include the usernames of the people we want to share the OC with while keeping it private. ### 4/5 — Just a few things *2026-05-17, version 1.9* This app is great, and it has one of the most wholesome communities I have ever seen online. However, there are a few things that I think could/should be improved. First of all is the content warnings/blurring. While I think having it at all is really good, it doesn’t always help due to the lack of options. Surprisingly, there is no gore (despite their being violence and death) option, meaning any kind of gore has to be censored using ‘other’. It also sucks that you can’t write custom reasons under ‘other’, because it means people have to put trigger warnings in their title for people to know why it’s being censored. Secondly, I’ve been having some issues with typing on there. The highlighting of words when typing is extremely glitchy and doesn’t work properly. I’m not sure if that’s something that can be fixed on your end, but I would really appreciate being able to highlight things to change them. Thirdly, I think it would be cool to have the option to have one post be posted to more than one community, and to also be able to display the communities you are in on your profile. And lastly, it would be great if the pronouns you set on your profile could appear next to your username in your posts and comments, that way people can tell how to refer to you without needing to go to your profile. It’s amazing to just scroll through at other’s work, or to share your own! It has such a friendly community, and I would recommend this app to all of my friends! I’ve been using it for a while now (they have a website aswell which is what I used before) and I just gotta say this app Harbor’s oh really positive environment that I need in my life! And I’ve never once had a negative encounter here (so far) which is a lot to say because this is an art sharing social media site! I also like the fact that it doesn’t allow AI! And it also has features built-in features such as watermarks which helps prevent art thieves! Overall, this app is really good and I super recommend it!!! Although I do suggest checking out the website UnVale.io if you want more in depth character traits! such as orientation, religion, etc… since Unvale hasn’t yet put all of the websites features onto the app yet!😊 ### 5/5 — AMAZING platform! *2026-03-20, version 1.7* This app is great for creators to share their characters! I can ramble on about the fake people I thought up and people will listen to me! I really like the feature that lets you see the most recent characters made instead of the most popular, since it lets less popular characters get more likes straight away. The community is nice and supportive. I really enjoy how Unvale is anti-AI and anti-NFT. It really makes a difference. i'm @daffdil on unvale btw ### 5/5 — AMAZING! *2026-03-16* I first came to this because my story was stolen and put on this app, but the team has been GREAT with working with me and taking it down. Other than that, Unvale pushes out new artists and is a great place to start! I got more likes on a character in one day than my character on another site did in one day! ### 5/5 — The absolute hivemind that is unvale *2026-03-14, version 1.7* Unvale is most definitely one of my most used apps today- getting to communicate with so many people with the same interests as me is certainly a refresher from ai and all the negatives in the world. It’s super inclusive and entirely ai free as it states. I find as though my motivation and art has improved since I joined, especially since I get to take inspiration from all of my favourite artists/friends on the app. I would definitely recommend this app if you’re looking for an active and inclusive community and have a passion for art/writing of any kind. ### 5/5 — Yay! :D *2026-03-08, version 1.6* So cool that we got an app!! I don’t think I have any complaints or problems with it, y’all did great and I love that Unvale’s growing <3 ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Unhelpful *2026-05-02, version 1.9* My account was deleted out of the blue one day, I contacted support a couple of times and they were unhelpful and only told me they would look into it on the second time I messaged but then never contacted me back. ### 2/5 — Disappointing *2026-06-17, version 1.12* This app and when it was only a website used to be really fun. It was easy to find what was going on, and I could see other people’s creations on the homepage and was able to select what type of art I could look at even if I wanted to be a different newest oldest or oldest newest post he used to be really easy to follow and now there’s post and community section. It’s more complicated and the homepage is different now and I’ve been slowly not using the salt together. When the app came out, I was super excited until more and more they started changing. I liked it how it was better without the post and communities sections now it’s a lot hard to use and I’ve been slowly using it less less and it’s harder for me to share my art with everybody because I’m not used to any of it Decatur or anyone else who is able to change this app knows how to change it. Please do so change it back to how it was used to do it every single day and I. too confusing and it’s always stuck on a dark mode and I wish there’s a way if you could change it to lighter or darker. A coffee feature might even see to add for how it was originally I think would be a good idea. Is that just you can edit the background color and design kind of on characters you post I think it would be cool to be able to do that on your creations area where all your stuff in your profile is ### 2/5 — Really annoying glitch *2026-05-09, version 1.9* I do prefer Toyhouse in terms of databasing my OCs for its way more in-depth sorting options, but I was immediately captivated by the community-focused nature of Unvale and the reactivity of the other users. However, there is one aspect I find infuriating— I will spend a decent chunk of time sorting images only for them to revert the moment I save, and I’m not a huge fan of the app for that alone as I’m an incredibly organized person. ### 2/5 — Can’t make an account *2025-12-20, version 1.4* This app looks so cool but when I try to make an account it won’t send me a code to my email and there isn’t an option to send another code! I’m just forced to watch everyone make art and ocs while I’m stuck without an account ### 3/5 — Can’t login :( *2026-07-10, version 1.13* I ended up having to change my password on my account cuz it said it failed to login or that it was the wrong one, and then when I finally changed it, it still says the same :( ### 3/5 — I love Unvale but… *2026-06-07, version 1.11* I love this website so much, and it’s helped me build an audience with my characters and stories! However, the recent updates to the algorithms have totally butchered the engagement I get on my posts, to the point no one even interacts with my stuff that much. It seems more popular peoples stuff is shown more and the app is becoming a game of luck to get noticed. I originally heard about it on YouTube when I came across it on YouTube Shorts. I decided I’d give it a shot and oh my word. Like I said, I feel right at home. I think it helps that there’s a lot of queer and neurodivergent folks on the app. We share wins, losses, ships, drama, art, stories and more. My art isn’t very popular, but that’s ok. I click them and they either don’t load or deselect the choice I made.
