I couldn’t find the notification button from the step by step instruction mentioned in the UOB official website to retrieve my new account number . ### 3/5 — Make it more minimalist *2025-09-27, version 18.14.0* So far, my experience with this app has been good. However, there are two areas that could be improved. First, the app logo should be redesigned with more minimalist approach, perhaps using only the UOB logo with mini-MY below of it. Second, the payment authentication especially FPX could be simplified. For example Public Bank makes payment authentication both secure and convenient by using only Face ID - PassKey instead of SMS OTP. Sometimes it will freeze and will need to kill the app and launch it again. Tried uninstalling and install again but same issues. The QR only allows you to scan to make payment or receive funds and no function to show your QR for vendor to scan to make payments. You removed the date when the transaction was made and only kept the post date. I need both transaction date and post date to track my expenses. Despite using my eligible credit card for daily transactions, the tracker has failed to function correctly. As a result, I have not received the level 2 interest as promised by the bank. That means the PIN is already invalid by the time I receive it, and I have to repeat the process again and again. It's extremely frustrating, especially when I'm just trying to perform basic tasks. Please fix the timing or allow more time for email-based PINs. It's making the app practically unusable for me. ### 1/5 — Cannot update. Ok now after passing the 12 hours, U think u can already use it right? Nope, when u log in, u still need that 3x otp to just to log in, then u have to log out again just to 'activate' the secure pin. The first 2x trying to transfer to other bank, the apps pop up - says ' please create secure pin'. Remember I already create it 12 hours ago? The third time log out and login again, then only I'm free to transfer. Now imagine if you want to use this apps overseas, where U didnt use roaming service , and only use travel sim or wifi. How to get that 3x otp just to his login? I rest my case uob need to improve. Such a hassle. ### 1/5 — Frustrating Login Experience *2025-04-17, version 18.4.0* I’ve been stuck in a loop trying to log into the bank’s app. Every time I try, it asks me to create a secure PIN, but after doing so, it tells me there’s a 12-hour cooling-off period. After waiting the full 12 hours, I go to activate again and the exact same thing happens back to the PIN setup and another 12-hour wait. It’s extremely frustrating and makes the app basically unusable. I just want to access my account, but the process keeps resetting with no progress.
