Upbase needs a Mobile app team *2025-11-02, version 1.1.23* Been a long time user of Upbase, it’s had its growing pains; slowly but surely it’s becoming more and more usable. Upbase team needs to onboard a small team of iOS/mobile app developers to help optimize and build this app to its full potential. At least to be on par with the Web App. So much functionality still needed to be added to the iOS app that is only available on the Web app. ### 2/5 — Basically no customer support *2024-05-10, version 1.1.12* While I like the clean interface, I’ve had massive issues syncing across my Apple devices. It’s happened so much that it basically makes the app unusable (after I spent a lot of time setting it up). I reached out to customer support and got an initial reply asking for more info but that was close to three weeks ago and I haven’t heard anything back. I’ve found no online support to figure this out on my own. For the price, they should provide support. ### 4/5 — chat has bugs *2024-02-27, version 1.1.11* chat has bugs. will change rating once fixed ### 3/5 — Online is GREAT but the iOS app needs work *2023-11-26, version 1.1.8* The way Upbase works online is brilliant; it is way simpler than tools like Trello and Notion. Unlike other bloated Kanban apps that claim to sync your Google calendar, Upbase really does. There is a daily page where you can make notes for the day, see your tasks and calendar in schedule form, and all in one place. But the daily page needs to sync better when you add items from the mobile app, and overall layout and syncing still need a lot of work. I use Apple Note or Things to capture stuff on mobile and then add it into Upbase when I return to my computer. I'm an early Upbase adopter and believe the mobile app will catch up in 2024. ### 4/5 — Amazing on web. App lagging behind *2023-09-16, version 1.1.7* Super easy to use UI and features on the browser. App leaves much to be desired and not updated in 5 months. They have a small team of six and I’m excited for the work you’re doing. I’m hoping you are making enough $ to hire a couple more folks to focus on the iOS and desktop apps as well. Or let go of the app and focus on just the web. The execution is a work in progress, especially the mobile app. The web version is good. I’d love options to customize certain things, but it’s WAY WAY WAY easier than a lot of the other project management apps. So I rewrote it and again it erased my work. Tried a third time and it failed to save my work. There is no “save button” in documents, so the auto save is faulty. Please add dark mode in mobile. I know y’all don’t code in light mode. So the task then gets lost. Have alerted Upbase about this multiple times as they just ghost me. Super rude. ### 1/5 — User error or what????? *2025-11-06, version 1.1.23* I have downloaded this app TWICE and it still won’t even load for me to actually use the app. I have tried with and without internet. It functions poorly and doesn't present tasks in a clear and concise manner. For example, if you select nine photos, you might only successfully upload five, and the system won’t tell you which photos failed to upload. ### 2/5 — Very buggy *2025-01-05, version 1.1.15* Very buggy, chat shows maybe half the messages I’ve received. I’ve searched everywhere for an app like this, that balances simplicity with function. Despite some snags, using this platform has been intuitive for my AD(H)D hyperfocus brain, made things manageable, easier. Tysm for this, and all the hard work as a small team. I see the concept, and it is beautiful. :) It can be buggy, not gonna lie. But that’s to be expected when using software at this stage of development. For me it’s been worth it. I hope you keep going and fully realize your vision. This is a personal and business content management system that I’m sure will be one of the big ones in the near future.
