Being able to follow your favorite teams is dope. Being able to follow your favorite players is super dope. Everything about the app is pretty cool. It can just be slow with loading times, but that wont last forever. That will get better with time. Thats why they get a 4/5 for me right now. **Developer response:** Thanks for sticking with us! We just launched a much faster version of the app, please upgrade to 5.1.0 and let us know what you think! -NG ### 3/5 — Great eSports Resource, Buggy as hell *2020-08-20, version 4.1.0* Seriously, I love this app because no where else has a scheduler like it for esports, it makes knowing matches and standings easy to follow. But holy crap this thing is buggy. Every time you click read more on an article you got to from a push notification, that’s a crash. You wanted to load content? Sometimes it just won’t. You wanted a UI that doesn’t feel clunky as hell and unintuitive? Maybe in 5 years. Whatever you’re paying your tech guys it’s too much, get some real devs in that bad boy and stop making me hate using an app I love so much **Developer response:** So true - it was buggy as hell back then! But now we are under new management and version 5.1.0 is so much better. Please upgrade and we hope you'll like the changes! We have more UI improvements coming in the next few weeks as well. -NG ### 4/5 — Nice but not great *2020-04-20, version 4.0.7* This app is good to follow your favorite teams but I just wish it was alittle bit more user friendly. When I go to the match’s for the day nothing shows. You need to really search to look into the brackets of a league and that’s if it loads up without kicking you out I enjoy that they allow you to watch the games and shows your multiple streams in different languages but wish it was better organized and didn’t kick me out when I tried to look into things ### 5/5 — Great app *2019-08-21, version 3.3.5* App is great for checking the standings od tournaments. Layout is pretty good and the app runs well. The articles are also good for keeping up to date on news in whatever community you are part of. This is basically like an espn app for esports ### 5/5 — Better than Strafe for Stats *2019-07-14, version 3.3.4* I’ve been looking all over to find an app to replace theScore esports after it went down, and Upcomer finally has done it for me. Strafe is great for the notifications, which Upcomer has too, but they don’t provide previous stats for the game played other than Most Kills and Assists at least for CS:GO and LoL. I would love if they would just add the scoreboard to see who did well, but until then Upcomer is the only valid app. ### 5/5 — Easy *2019-06-06, version 3.3.0* Good to use if you like watching cs tournaments and such makes everything really easy ### 5/5 — Amazing *2019-04-12, version 3.1.2* I’ve tried every E-Sports app you can think of. This app combines all of the best features of the others, in one place. Until recently I’ve loved Upcomer on every way until a few weeks ago where it just didn’t load every time I opened it and it’s frustrating. Now It does load but it doesn’t respond to what I want to open. What can I do? ### 5/5 — Best Esports app I’ve found *2019-02-21, version 2.5.1* I’ve tried others, and despite some flaws, this one has been the best so far. ### 5/5 — Love bing able to hide the scores! *2019-02-17, version 2.5.1* I can’t always watch games live so being able to hide the scores and watch the replays is amazing! ### 5/5 — I use this app for all my Esports *2019-02-14, version 2.5.1* I watch a ton of Overwatch League and The call of duty pro league and it is super easy to check up on games, and players when a ton of matches are being played. Also the pint system and guessing what team is going to win is a great mechanic. The app has some bugs and the stories they put out are usually a day late, but it runs smoothly, the devs seem to be really enthusiastic about the community and it’s a really fun and convenient app to use. But the performance still need to be improved more, the app often happens to be lag, slow respond, etc... ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — No help from developers *2022-07-18, version 5.2.1* Can't even get past the quick setup on the app. The app bugs out after enabling push notifications and won't continue on. Have emailed customer service twice about the issue with video evidence and haven't heard anything from them in 4 weeks. Would be a great app if I could even use it. ### 1/5 — I’m having lots of issues with Notifications *2022-07-10, version 5.2.1* This might be a frustrating review to read but I can’t get this app to send me notifications which is kind of the whole point. I don’t think it’s my phone because other apps send me notifications and in my notification settings everything seems to be normal for the app. I have saved teams and click the bell icon (where it’s lit up) but I have never gotten a notification from this app. I’ve been with y’all since way before the logo change and I remember when I sent you an email about adding rocket league to the game list so it’s awesome to see the at you’re taking feedback! Lmk if there’s anything I can do on my end and I’ll update my review because y’all are providing a service I’d gladly pay for. Edit: app no longer works at all ### 1/5 — Disappointed in future choices *2019-12-26, version 4.0.7* I have been using this app for a couple years. I've really enjoyed it and found it very user friendly. However, their changes they have made for premium have disappointed me so much in basically done with this app. I understand it costs to run the app and service. But when I look at a best of 3 series and can only see information about the first game I don't feel I'm really getting much info. Basically just find out the final scores. That what earns my 1 star. Great place to just find it scores. However if I want any more information I'm basically out of luck. Really hope they reconsider how premium works. **Developer response:** Hello! I can’t go back or did anything else, I have to restart the app completely every time. Articles either won’t load or take a long time to show up. Frankly I get “updates” about news and breaking stories days after I see that same news on other sources, making this app feel like it’s overall behind. **Developer response:** Hey Simsim. Please give it a try and we'd appreciate if you update the review :) About the news, we're making some big improvements in the coming week! ### 2/5 — Match sschedule won’t open *2019-10-13, version 4.0.2* So i have been trying to open the match schedule for league of legends for past days and it doesn’t opened at all since it’s world championship this this month October and November. I don’t know what’s going on with the app but i hope it got fix because i already reinstall the app one time and it still didn’t work🤦🏻‍♀️ ### 2/5 — Used to be good *2019-04-24, version 3.1.2* I used to use this app all the time to keep track of CS:GO events. Unfortunately, recently the UI changed and now the app is so much worse to use. The old UI was so much more simple and easy to use. I would like there to be an option to revert back to that old UI. ### 2/5 — I wish the Blitz App would return. *2018-06-30, version 2.2.7* Since the loss of the Blitz app, the search for a suitable replacement will continue. This app has some nice features; predicting outcomes is fun, and it has a wide variety of esports with a lot of coverage. Unfortunately, and maybe this is just me, no article will load well. I can wait for 5 minutes and still won’t get to read any article using this app. Also, if by some miracle I manage to follow a link, I have to completely close my app to return to the list of headlines. I feel like I have to search much too hard to get to the standings of the league I am searching for. All and all, this app is nice to check to see who won in the LCS today, but after that it falls short. ### 2/5 — Doesn’t load *2018-04-14, version 2.2.3* It has everything i would need to keep up with esports related things but the only thing that annoys me the most is that it sometimes infinitely loads some menus, for instance, the matches menu for overwatch contenders. And an even more annoying thing is that it doesn’t even let me go back or interact with the app in any way while it’s loading yet not loading these menus at all. When i first got this app i couldn’t see any data because nothing would load after the preferance menus. Useful when it works, useless when i try to open certain menus. ### 3/5 — Notifications *2021-03-26, version 4.1.1* Used to be a great app but the notifications haven’t been working in about a year. There are no other apps like this one, so it would be great if it worked. ### 3/5 — Basics *2021-02-24, version 4.1.0* It does what it needs to. It’s still the best all-in-one summary for league games I’ve found. However, the report system does nothing, and the comment system is broken.
