The streaming services that I have deselected end up magically being selected again, even though I never selected them. The ads are extremely intrusive, so much so that it is difficult to navigate the app without accidentally tapping them. And I keep getting recommendations for films that aren't even close to the specific genre I have selected. Upflix used to be a pretty good app. But now it is just this useless app that takes up space on my phone. I genuinely hope the devs fix this stuff. In the meanwhile however, I am removing it from my phone. It is so much easier to just open whatever streaming apps I have, and searching for the kinds of films I want directly from my platforms. ### 3/5 — Dear Upflix *2026-06-19, version 3.15.6* You are good but you should let people watch the on this app ### 3/5 — Metadata all over the place *2026-04-11, version 3.14.36* Recently I’ve noticed that it keeps getting the metadata of a lot of films incorrect. This is typically when a film has the same name as another. Upflix shows a film has been added but it’s actually a totally different film. Leon the professional was a recent example on Amazon Prime. Turns out it’s another film called Leon from 2024. Tiene un modo gratuito en la cual te obligan a poder rastrearte. Pero lo peor no es eso, es que si pagas la suscripción solo prometen rastrearte MENOS. Es un abuso y la vida imagen de la decadencia y permisibilidad por dinero de la AppStore. ### 1/5 — Previous Remove Ads purchase ignored *2026-01-24, version 3.14.3* I purchased Remove Ads BEFORE the subscription system was introduced. Since the latest update, the app now shows ads every time it launches, as if my purchase no longer exists. The “Restore Purchases” feature does not work, even after multiple attempts. In short: a previously paid lifetime purchase is being ignored after the subscription update. This is unacceptable and feels like older purchases were intentionally broken.
