This update gives the job cards more room.

A smaller greeting card
The card at the top of Discover took up more space than it earned. It is now
about half its previous height, so more of the job you are looking at fits on
screen without scrolling.

A clearer next step
The prompt inside it (finish your profile, or set up auto-apply) is now a single
short line with the button beside it, rather than a paragraph sitting between
you and the jobs.

This update makes finding the right job noticeably faster and more accurate.

Faster search
Searching for a specific role or skill is dramatically quicker. Detailed
searches that previously seemed to hang now return straight away.

Better ordering
Results are now ranked by how well they actually match what you typed, rather
than simply by how recently they were posted. A job whose title matches your
search now appears above an unrelated newer one that happened to mention the
word once.

Correct salary units
We fixed a display issue where some salaries showed the wrong unit. A number
of yearly salaries were being shown as hourly rates.

Fewer dead listings
Jobs that have since closed are now removed automatically, so you spend less
time on roles that are no longer accepting applications.

This one is about making UpGig easier to read, tap, and trust.

- Higher contrast on buttons, links, and calls to action, so text stays readable in bright light and for low-vision users.
- Bigger tap targets on the browse and job screens. Fewer missed taps, especially one-handed.

- Signing in with a mistyped email now tells you immediately instead of failing after a round trip.
