Perfect payments and pay downs = Reduced credit score!!!? *2026-07-04, version 1.32.1* I have been a customer with upgrade for seven years I’ve never missed a payment on anything, none of my personal loans none of my car payments. Absolutely nothing. I decided to pay this card down from 2600 to 1100 When you pay your card down your credit score should go up right? Well upgrade decided to lower my limit to 500! When they lowered my limit to 500 it looked like I was utilizing 260% of my credit card usage with them! When in fact, I had paid it down where I was utilizing under 40%! When they did this, it made my credit score drop tremendously! Every time I pay it down, they lower my limit! Wanted to delete my app account and unlink all my personal identifiable information like my bank account, address, email, telephone. Can’t do it for some reason. Literally the most impossible task for them. They forever keep your information. Customer service is useless. It will spin for several minutes then prompt the pass key screen and then spin but never load. Been watching it spin for the last 30 minutes. Very frustrated! ### 1/5 — Horrible customer support *2026-05-26, version 1.32.1* This company’s services should be avoided at all cost. I have been trying to work with them to have a fraudulent charge made from another country removed for almost two weeks. The charges were supposedly made with a physical card in Australia. When reported to Upgrade customer support, they were operating very poorly to resolve the issue. I asked to cancel the card and reissue to avoid further fraudulent charges. During discovery, I noticed that there was an old contact number connected with my account. Getting that number updated also proved to be too much for Upgrade to handle. As a result, I asked to close the account because I no longer have confidence that my sensitive personal identity information is safe or secure in this company’s hands.
