When a gym starts implementing fees for late or no shows, it is a bad sign for me and I stop my membership. The gym is where we go to let off steam to destress not to add more financial stress. It’s not a college class, it’s not a job meeting. We try our best to make the gym class but life happens and sometimes we cannot make it. Sometimes someone demands something off you last minute or you have to deal with something especially if you are a parent.
