### 1/5 — Be upfront with cost

*2026-09-20*

I spent 30+ minutes answering questions before I saw the monthly/yearly cost for the app. I would have skipped the entire thing had I known the cost. It is frustrating and feels deceptive to waste so much time and then find out the cost for using the app.

**Developer response:** Hi Leah,
Thanks for your feedback.
30 minutes in before seeing the price is a bad experience, and not at all what we intend. The subscription is listed twice on the App Store page and our site, but clearly not prominently enough. We'll make it more visible in the next release.
To make up for it, we'd like to give you a free year (no card required). Email support@upgradingyou.ai and we'll set it up.
Best,
UpgradingYou
