### 3/5 — Bad app, good idea

*2023-01-11, version 15.7.0*

It is clunky at best, and the UI needs work. The web app is also clunky. Both take a ridiculous amount of time to load and update.

That said- solid app, potential to be great if UI is improved and it updates properly.

### 5/5 — Makes keeping in contact ridiculously easy

*2021-12-15, version 11.0.8*

What I like the most about this app is that it gives you the opportunity to introduce people in your network so easily like I have never seen before on other personal CRM apps so this is a five star app for everybody that is wanting to keep in contact with people in your network but haven’t got the time to do it

### 5/5 — Best Relationship-Building App!

*2021-12-03, version 11.0.6*

This is the best and most simple way I’ve found to keep up with my network!

Their onboarding process is amazing and it shows you one step at a time how to succeed with it.

Also, the founder really cares about making this app THE BEST networking app out there.

He’ll jump on a call with you, teach you how to use it, listen to your feedback, but most importantly, actually implement those changes!

10/10 totally recommend!

### 5/5 — Just right

*2021-09-23*

I wanted something to help me keep track of my network short of a full CRM. I tried that and it was expensive and had too many features. UpHabit fits just right for a regular career professional. The support from the developers is in another league. My company has enterprise software costing five figures per year and the support falls short of what you get from this simple app.

**Developer response:** Wow, thank you! We're here and delighted to help you in any way, including as many cool and helpful features as you can ask us for. Your UpHabit Team

### 5/5 — My favorite app!

*2021-08-17*

UpHabit gives me the system and structure I need to follow up and keep in touch with all the amazing people I meet when I’m out and about networking for my business. I truly feel that I have more confidence in myself and more respect from my peers as a result, both resulting in more consistent and quality referrals. Thank you!!!

**Developer response:** Wow, you made our day. Please keep the feedback coming...we want to be better for you every single day. Some features/fixes take longer than others, but we're here to make them happen. Thanks again, Your UpHabit Team

### 5/5 — Nails it

*2021-06-24*

This app is incredibly user-friendly, and something that I enjoy using to run my small consulting business. Developers are responsive and improve the app at a heathy pace. The tagging feature is so easy to use and helpful to categorize contacts.

**Developer response:** Hi there, thank you very much for your kind words. We'll keep working hard to deliver great features for you at a consistent pace. We also love feedback...help@uphabit.com is a great way to reach us, but any way you know to reach us is just fine with us. Thank you, Your UpHabit Team

### 4/5 — Onboarding Checklist

*2021-04-08, version 9.4.0*

This app would be perfect it you were able to add a checklist with reminders for onboarding clients. I have several steps that I do on different days.

This has been a huge help in helping me organize my information and weekly follow up info.

### 5/5 — User friendly and GREAT support!

*2021-03-03*

UpHabit is a great tool to help me keep track of contacts and relationships I want to prioritize. During COVID, I’ve been relying on increasing networking but our business CRM doesn’t really allow me to focus on relationships and people outside of “leads, accounts” etcZ UpHabit has been easy to set up and I’m very pleased with it so far

**Developer response:** Thanks so much. You're why we exist! Sometimes we're described in a sales context as "pre-funnel and post-funnel"...so networking to develop new leads and then staying in touch with the customers you've already won (which we hope is 100% of your prospects!). 😀 Thank you again, Your UpHabit Team

### 5/5 — Networking on steroids

*2021-02-26, version 9.2.2*

This is the piece I’ve been missing to keep in contact with my network. Everyone is at my finger tips and reaching out takes a fraction of the time. Quadrupled my activity in a week. Thanks Neil!

### 5/5 — Game Changer

*2021-02-12*

UpHabit is a welcome life hack for those of us who know the value of growing and feeding our network, but lack a systematic way of doing so. Once you are set up on this app, your activity skyrockets and the game is changed. I don't have to remember who to reach out to and when, and I don't have to search my brain or some spreadsheet to recall what we talked about before. Just have to play along.

The other important thing to note regarding this app - the UpHabit team is relentless in developing and releasing functionality in regular and rapid fashion. They also solicit customer input actively to make sure what they are working on is important and valued. There are other apps with similar intentions regarding personal crm functionality, but they are more static after first release. This one keeps getting better, and helps me get better too.

### 5/5 — Always thinking ahead

*2021-01-28*

I’ve made some suggestions a couple of times and they’re always able to show me some mock-ups of the plans. I’ve always gotten a very quick response when I send emails. I really, really appreciate having this app!

**Developer response:** Thank you! We love supporting you and will always keep moving forward in support of you.

Your UpHabit Team

### 5/5 — Great app for keeping in touch

*2021-01-26, version 9.1.0*

Your network is a living thing - it must be nurtured and maintained to keep it healthy. UpHabit helps me stay in a regular cadence of communication with the people in my network.

### 3/5 — Lots of data entry

*2021-01-12*

It’s better than some software where you have to manually input everything, but I don’t use the integrations offered much. I mostly communicate with people via Slack, Discord, and SMS. The lack of these integrations means I have to do a lot of manual work to maintain the app. If I’m going to do it all myself anyway, I may as well just keep notes the old fashioned way.

**Developer response:** Hi there, thanks for the feedback. If you start your messages from within our app we do capture the start of it and will ask you to easily complete the note. Direct SMS integration is not possible as there is no API. Slack and Discord are interesting and we'll investigate the best way to make it happen (if it's possible). If you could reach out to our support team inside the app (Settings > Contact Support) we'll be able to keep you updated and maybe earn a better rating over time. Thank you, Your UpHabit Team

### 3/5 — Good try, but need to keep working

*2020-10-03, version 8.1.3*

Three stars for disrespecting the user’s UI real-estate - annoying recurring “help” information, communications ribbon taking too much space - please make it smaller or show only when the user asks for it. From my perspective I also would like to see more structure/fields for storing the Relationship family members details (that is their kids, siblings -if they are also my contact or relationship, their birthdays, age and gender also important). I think the notes approach is less productive than explicit sections/fields. Have not checked the web app for a while, as the initial experience was abysmal.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Messed up my contacts

*2023-03-20, version 16.4.0*

When I deleted the app it left an "Uphabit" record against every contact in my address book. Awful. Please don't use this app.

### 1/5 — App Won’t Even Open

*2022-12-31, version 15.5.5*

1 star. What more is there to say other than that the app won’t open after registering with Apple… waited a few hours, force quit, restarted, same garbage.

There’s GetDex.com, Clay.Earth, Contacts+… don’t bother with an app that won’t even load after registration.

### 1/5 — Lots of promise left unfulfilled by poor coding and no help.

*2021-06-23*

I’ve tried using this app since it came out and was an early paid subscriber. I want to love it because of the promise it offers small businesses and people with valued relationships that sometimes weaken due to busy schedules. But I constantly run into bugs, crashes, and odd inconsistencies that is making me give up.

Synchronizing contacts never seems to pull in my complete list. Syncing calendars causes the app to crash. Even if there is an underlying bug that Apple is responsible for, the UpHabit app shouldn’t crash because of it. I’m sure coders can figure out error handling for such situations.

When I try to link my Microsoft Office 365 email account to my UpHabit account, it logs me out. I can’t sync the two and, therefore, can’t see if it’s as good as it looks. That feature holds a lot of promise and I really want it to work for me. But I’m be able to keep the app from crashing, in sync with accounts, or otherwise stable to even know if something is working.

Getting help is a worse experience than the app. The “help” center is a bunch of feature highlights, blog posts, and links to other articles on networking. Searching hasn’t yielded any FAQs, workarounds for known bugs, or even a way to contact support. Even if there is no SLA or expected turnaround time, I can’t even get to someone who can help work through critical issues. I have “left” the app and come back from time to time but end up more disappointed than the last time I quit using it. The promise of a good app keeps drawing me back but after trying to get things to work again for two days, I think I have to quit it for good and give up on the idea UpHabit can make a quality app for maintaining my network.

**Developer response:** Hi there, thank you for your feedback. We're sorry that it hasn't been a great experience for you and we're very sorry about that. It's not our intention and we work hard to make it different than your experience. If you ever want to speak to us, help@uphabit.com will reach us right away.

As it relates to Microsoft integrations, it's a really complex situation under the covers when it comes to Microsoft. They give us a great application programming interface to work with but it has its limitations. It sits in front of Office 365 Home, Corporate, Hotmail (yes, even Hotmail) and federated on-premise Exchange server connections. Not only that, your company can implement security policies to restrict apps from accessing the data. All of that is fine, but sometimes Microsoft's interfaces don't work as documented.

If you're ever interested in working with our development team on your exact issue and if you can share with us a non-confidential account that is having the disconnect problem, we'd love you to please reach out and help us with it. We have no issues with any of our test accounts and that's the challenge in trying to track down the issue you're experiencing.

Sincerely,

The UpHabit Team

### 1/5 — App won’t load

*2020-02-12, version 6.1.2*

Not sure what is going on but now app won’t load at all. Instantly crashes as soon as you click on the icon.

### 1/5 — Rip off

*2020-02-02, version 6.0.1*

Have more than 5 people you want to keep in touch with? Get ready to pony up a steady stream of dollars to these guys to manage that.

They’ve already once reduced functionality and tucked it behind a paywall, so clearly it’s in their culture to do it again.

Subscription fatigue is here and it’s real. This app is totally not worth it.

### 1/5 — Disappointed

*2019-08-28, version 3.9.1*

I probably should have read the description of the app closer. It doesn’t look like there’s a way to make new contacts on this platform; only organize or resume contact with current ones.

### 2/5 — No support

*2025-07-21, version 20.3.4*

I’m grateful for this free app which helps me keep in contact with others. I am very disappointed with the lack of response from the developer when I requested several times access to my data. They promise to respect users’ ownership of their data but fail to follow through.

### 2/5 — Was good, now pay wall is too tight

*2023-06-09, version 16.9.5*

It’s a really good app, but in one of the recent updates they have now limited the amount of people you can add to your account to 10 before you need to pay. In other words, you need to pay now to use the app.

I don’t think this is a very good balance…

### 2/5 — Nice app with potential but too much spam

*2020-09-17, version 8.0.2*

Nice app with potential but everyday spam via email and notifications is too much

### 2/5 — Keeps crashing! Haven’t been about to use it.

*2019-10-21, version 4.4.1*

I was really excited to use this app but I haven’t been able to open it. It worked when I initially installed it but keeps crashing after that. I’ve installed it multiple times but still no luck. I would love to give this a fair review.

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Best personal CRM

*2025-11-12*

Love that it brings in your ‘pings’ from email if you want it to. Chrome Extension for adding from LinkedIn is awesome. Just wish it brought it profile pics like mobile app does so well.

### 5/5 — THE BEST CUSTOMER APP YET

*2025-05-19, version 19.7.1*

This is exactly what I’ve been looking for! You can organise your personal and business contacts by tags, make reminders who you need to follow up with and stay on top of everything! I’ve been looking for an app like this for so long! Super simple to use! The hardest bit is the initial organising of your contacts, with the easy phone book integration contacts are uploaded quickly so you just need to go through your contacts, decide who’s important and tag them into a category if wished !

### 5/5 — Best personal CRM

*2024-09-28*

### 5/5 — Gives you one less thing to remember!

*2024-04-04*

The reminders from UpHabit are extremely helpful. From birthday reminders to easily adding new connections to Constant Contact email lists, this app de-clutters your brain. The developer is very hands on with updates and truly listens to feedback from me as a customer. Highly recommend!

### 5/5 — Best CRM on IOS

*2023-09-24*

I have tried a few CRM apps, but this one works the best. I currently on the paid version. I use it to keep tracker of the new people that I meet and the reminder feature is super helpful. I hope the team continues to make updates as more people discovers how difficult it is to keep track of their connections in their head or on an excel spreadsheet. The paid version is worth every penny.

### 5/5 — Great App

*2023-04-16, version 16.6.2*

Love it!!

### 5/5 — Awesome!

*2023-01-22, version 15.7.3*

UpHabit delivers as promises - a personal CRM to help you make more thoughtful, intentional aka human connections.
