Hoping it gets fixed soon… I miss it ### 4/5 — Used for years but still missing one feature *2024-04-18, version 2.2.0* UPDATE: This app is STILL the only one I’ve found that allows you to kick tasks put by completion date. PLEASE make it shareable with others! I finally broke down and paid for a task app because this is the only one offers rolling updates. For example, if a weekly task is due 2/1 and I don’t complete it until 2/4, I can have the new due date be 2/8 OR the updated due date or 2/11. Need to be better color codes or better visual experience ### 2/5 — The update has broken and lost years of task history *2023-01-07, version 2.1.1* I’ve been using Upkeep for years because it’s the only app I’ve found that is well designed for long-term tasks, like things that only need to be done every few months or once a year, for example. The migration to the new update worked fine, and I created an account to make sure everything backed up, but now the app has signed me out, and I can’t log back in. If I try “Sign Up”, it tells me the user/email already exists, and then when I try to log in, it tells me my email isn’t found. If I try to click “Reset password”, it never asks for an email and just asks for a code that never shows up anywhere. So essentially, I have about 30 tasks with several years of history that are gone if I can’t get logged back in. I appreciate the addition of backing up and syncing, but if it’s going to be this unstable, I’d have been better off just keeping it all backed up manually without any kind of log in. ### 3/5 — Avg *2022-12-25, version 2.1.1* I desire to show a history of completed tasks ### 3/5 — Editing custom task *2022-12-09, version 1.2.4* So far I am unable to find a way to edit the name or title of a custom task without totally deleting the task (along with all its history) and recreating a new task. This app has potential but is limited to a single device. Not sure how we can have it on both our phones or access it on the web. ### 1/5 — Rude *2021-09-11, version 1.2.4* The upkeeper app has potencial, but dose not worth any money since the app can not transfer data or sync, is absurd spending time storing tasks as you will lose all your tasks as soon as you have to replace, reset, or update your device. Also the customer service are not willing to help and is very rude reply to emails with an attitude. ### 4/5 — Love it so far…but worried about app maintenance *2021-05-11, version 1.2.4* I searched long and hard for an app like this and was so happy to find exactly what I needed… an app to track all my recurring tasks and remind me when the come back up. It works flawlessly so far (only 1 week in). But I’ve just read a few reviews saying they lost everything when phone broke, and that it doesn’t transfer devices. I’m a little worried about what will happen in a year when I get a new phone… will this data transfer or will I have to start all over? Scared to find out. I see the last update was 2 years ago so a little concerned the developer has lost interest in improving this app. If you’re reading this, know that I (and probably others) are willing to pay for the much needed additional functionality of syncing to iCloud and across devices. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Doesn’t go past 2024 *2024-12-01, version 2.2.0* This app is too old. However, it was just updated and I cannot access it with all my valuable data on it. I’ve emailed support but the email address bounces back. Today it stopped working entirely. I can’t sign in, can’t create an account, no way to contact customer support as the developed website doesn’t exist. Really frustrated. If the developer sees this, please reach out. Only like 4 tasks are visible at on time when looking at your to do list. I miss when you tapped on a task 4 options came up, now you have to go through several options for each individual task. I really hope the team will listen to everyone’s complaints otherwise I may look elsewhere for a better replacement. Update: today I realized the app has the option to “delete” categories… but it doesn’t actually delete them. It just spins forever. It’s exactly what I needed. A way to keep track of recurring tasks without junking up my calendar. I love how it asks me if I want to update the interval to the next reminder, or keep it the same when I complete the task a day or two late. The simple design makes the information so clear.
