Using the incorrect file type for Photos can cause a crash. Typing in a field can sometimes cause a crash. Firstly, the pricing feels steep for businesses that don’t operate on a large scale. Additionally, the inability to send work orders to vendors for completion and signatures unless they are paid members limits the app’s flexibility and cost-effectiveness. This could be a significant barrier for companies that rely on external vendors. The lack of cohesion between the mobile and web applications is also frustrating. Certain tasks are only possible on one platform, which disrupts workflow efficiency. For a platform designed to streamline processes, this disconnect feels counterintuitive. I’ve voiced these concerns in conversations with Ryan, Rob, and the team, some of which date back over a year. Unfortunately, I haven’t seen tangible efforts to address these issues, which is disappointing given the time invested in discussions. Ultimately, Upkeep Maintenance appears better suited for businesses that keep workflows in-house rather than those outsourcing. While I appreciate some of its features, the app often feels like two steps forward and one step back. With greater focus on user feedback and cross-platform functionality, it could be a more versatile solution. It’s great to keep track of all of the equipment hours and such with the meters. Being able to set up a preventable maintenance trigger is amazing for my line of work ### 1/5 — Buyer BEWARE! *2023-03-16, version 4.45* Review is recent and real!! We were early adopters and did enjoy the app now I would not recommend to ANYONE!! Product features will continue to be removed and placed behind a pay wall. AND the rate will continue to increase EVERY year you subscribe. Cancellation is impossible, their staff is very rude and unprofessional. Do not buy!!! Horrible app. I hate it we have run into several problems and not once have they fixed the problem but offer us to buy more function. All of my guys (6 of them) have been able to see all pending work orders About a month ago that went away. The solution is to send them more money. It will hang with a blank page. This is really frustrating when you’re on site and just trying to remember which unit needs the disposer (for example) or what’s the tenant’s contact info. Why is it necessary for the work order to be broken up into two pages? For all the details you need two taps to go to a stupid pop-up page. The work order should be on one page. Who’s got time for buried details or phone numbers? It’s nice that tap to call is enabled on iPhone, but why can’t text be an option? Nobody answers their phone anymore — they text. How old are the developers? ### 1/5 — Office Manager *2021-03-17, version 4.18.0* Looking to make work orders for my paint company. The app was unable to find the locations I was entering and so it doesn’t let you put in a location at all. My employees still need to know where the job is at even if the app can’t find the location. I also didn’t like that I couldn’t just enter in supplies that they will need for the job. I wanted to enter the paint info and the app only allows you to take things out of your inventory. ### 3/5 — Buggy *2021-03-09, version 4.17.0* Been having problems all morning. Sometimes this app wants to work and sometimes it just does not. Trying to get work orders completed it takes forever for it to load task or finish out task. App is HORRIBLY slow. I regularly have to back out and re-enter tickets in order to see that my timer has actually started or my ticket actually closed. Comment drafts do not save and will get cleared if you leave the app for too long. Unable to post multiple pictures at a time, must upload one by one and wait around a minute for each to upload. All of this is on a fast internet connection. I am unable to click on addresses in the “location” section of a ticket. There are a ton of things that don’t seem like they were ever thought through or taken to completion. For preventive maintenance, the AI checklist builder gives me a solid starting point instead of just staring at a blank screen. The smart scheduling suggestions also make day-to-day planning easier by factoring in availability and priority.
