## What is UpLedger?

UpLedger is a private money manager built around one clear rule: a captured entry is not a recorded entry until you approve it.

Capture expenses and income by hand, text, voice or receipt. Every capture becomes a reviewable draft, so you can check the amount, account, category and date before it reaches your ledger.

The UpLedger workflow keeps a visible decision trail: capture what happened, correct what needs attention, approve the entry and use the resulting ledger to plan what comes next.

Private by design

Your financial records stay on your device. If you enable iCloud sync, Apple CloudKit stores your data in your private iCloud container. UpLedger includes no advertising and does not send your transactions, balances, merchants or notes to analytics providers.

Optional diagnostics are only enabled when you choose to share them. Optional AI features require explicit configuration and consent before external processing is used.

UpLedger Pro

The free plan includes 1 account, 2 classification rules, 2 recurrences and 1 household member. UpLedger Pro removes these limits and unlocks full export, iCloud sync and extended forecasting. Choose a monthly or yearly subscription, or a lifetime purchase. Purchases are processed through Apple In-App Purchase; subscriptions can be managed from your Apple Account settings.
