Before you take photos you can select the folders where they will be uploaded. For that, go to the 'Folders' tab inside of the app and then press the camera button once you are inside of the folder where you want the photos to upload. In that same screen you can tap the button with the 3-dots and then tap "Import photos" to upload photos that you already have in your photo library. I can only delete entire folders. Also, there’s a bug, after I take a photo then select the thumbnail to go to the folder… the photo does not show until I refresh it. **Developer response:** Thanks for your feedback! Folders should already refresh automatically when a new photo is uploaded. At the time, it did not support a bluetooth trigger. I commented about that and the developer added the feature. They also added some audio cues so one can know whether it's recording now or not. Now I plan to use it to capture video of high school hitters in the batters box. The video will go to the cloud and the players can view their at bats in the dugout. Like a big-leaguer. ### 4/5 — Great app but can’t take photo with volume buttons *2024-01-05* Please add volume trigger and bluetooth trigger, you are only able to take photos with volume buttons the first time you open the app if you open another app and return to Uploadcam then it won’t take photos with volume button you have to quit the app then open it again, please fix **Developer response:** Hello. This is probably my most used app. I use it all the time every day. Quick easy painless way to get my photos directly onto my computer at work in real time. No connecting with cables or trying to go to strange websites to find your photographs. It just works, instantly! The only improvement I could think of would be to add the ability to adjust photo exposure in the camera before you take the photo. If the developer can do this I’ll get it six stars! I find the free version is perfect because I prefer the medium resolution. But I find the app so helpful I’ll pay for a couple months just to give some love. ### 5/5 — App is great for filming and getting videos uploaded to the cloud *2023-05-31* I've been using this for a couple years and really liked it at times it can crash, which is frustrating. But once I figured out what makes it crash, I was able to avoid those situations and really enjoy using it. Would be nice if the app warned when it was recording video in low resolution instead of high resolution. It's the only app I've found that I can record video, rename the file, and have it upload to the cloud. Makes the process of getting video to the cloud with a meaningful file name so much easier. ### 2/5 — Way overpriced :( *2023-03-28, version 4.5.3* This app was exactly what I was looking for to use with my team at work but the high priced subscription model would cost us nearly $500 per year! Guess we’ll be sticking to manual uploads. ### 2/5 — Absurd price *2022-08-22, version 4.4.4* The app works very fine. I haven’t find a suitable replacement. But the price is ridiculous high and no real work is done except for bug fixing. ### 3/5 — Stopped working *2022-07-29* *Update- the developer responded saying they found a bug and just waiting for the approval for the next version. The app worked for an hour and then stopped uploading. I reached out to their support team and never received a response. I love the idea but it’s not very robust. **Developer response:** Hi there. Easy to use and love the photo features (I.e, date stamps, adjustment of text size, etc.). Makes my life for work so much easier. ### 2/5 — Nice app but likes to crash *2021-06-01* Tried using this app for a while and it was saving me a good amount of effort but it’s consistent crashing stopped me from using it. It’s very generic and just trash. Not intuitive at all and I’m a field tech who lives on apps. I logged into my Google account and uploaded a photo and who knows where it uploaded to but it was the folder of intention. I’m moving on to a different solution for my business needs. **Developer response:** Hi there. So sorry to hear you didn't like the app. When you take photos without selecting a folder your photos will be uploaded to the root of your Google Drive. Gives full access to your files and YOU AND YOUR FRIENDS email addresses that you use to share files. It should only have permission to upload IMO. **Developer response:** Hi there. Our app takes privacy very seriously, the reason why the app needs access to your files is because we need to be able to upload to your cloud drive when you take the photos as that is the primary function and value of the app. There is no way to request only permission to upload as that requires reading the folder structure to be able to select where you want to save the photos and also requires write permission to upload the photos.
