### 4/5 — Great concept….please keep up to date

*2024-01-31, version 4.1.0*

I like the concept and layout. To be most useful the protocols need updated to stay current.

### 4/5 — Update

*2019-10-29, version 3.3.7*

App is great, just needs updated for the new meds and protocols!

### 4/5 — Shaun

*2019-07-19, version 3.3.7*

Great app with hyperlink text to find other protocols that are referenced. Makes it easy to use with the app broken up into subsections based on certification level. Easy to read. However 2019 protocol isn’t updated in this app. Still using 2017.

### 3/5 — Needs to be updated ASAP.

*2019-07-14, version 3.3.7*

This app is pretty useful, but it needs to be updated with the new protocols (2019 rollout is pending as of this writing, and this is still using the 2017 version).

### 4/5 — App is great!! Just outdated

*2019-05-06, version 3.3.7*

This application is very useful with PA EMS protocol and included tools. However the app is in need of updating as the ALS protocol is now on a 2018 roll out with inclusion of new protocols and new medications added. Please update this app!!

### 4/5 — 2018 protocols

*2019-02-10, version 3.3.7*

Any word on when the 2018 updates will be available?

### 3/5 — Good but needs updated

*2018-11-30, version 3.3.7*

Protocols need to be updated to 2018’s revision otherwise good program that's easy to navigate in an intuitive manner.

****Missing ALS 7003 Non-traumatic Pain Management****

### 4/5 — Please fix small bug asap!

*2015-11-22, version 3.3.3*

Clicking the hospital button causes the app to crash instead of showing the hospital list. Please fix to keep an extremely useful app working correctly!

### 4/5 — App crash

*2015-11-14, version 3.3.3*

After most recent update cannot pull up hospital list without app crashing, all other icons work, please fix

### 4/5 — Cool App

*2015-06-03, version 3.2.1*

I'm an EMT in training, I'm finishing the testing as I type this review. I have to say that this app is sweet, it has the state protocols and I know that it's gonna be updated in the near future do to a class I took yesterday when I found out about this app. This thing has everything on it and if I have a question about a call protocol or guideline, I can look it up fairly quickly thanks to this.

### 4/5 — Need a info fix

*2014-04-21, version 3.2.1*

Good app. Only thing I found wrong is in the drug list. Albuterol has the same info as levalbuterol.

### 4/5 — Incorrect Info

*2013-05-16, version 3.2*

Look into the phone numbers that are listed for the hospitals. I know for a fact that UPMC McCandless and both Heritage Valley Sewickley and Beaver ring to the main hospital lines. The numbers listed should ring to medical command or at the very least the emergency dept. Other than that, pretty useful app.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — UPDATE NEEDED!

*2020-12-05, version 4.0.6*

UPMC!!! Update this! You're constantly growing and progressing in every aspect; except when it comes to EMS! This app USED to be extremely helpful! But it has not provided updated protocols in ages!

### 1/5 — Still not updated

*2020-02-24, version 3.3.7*

As of feb 2019, the app is still not updated. It is useless without the update

### 1/5 — Please update

*2020-01-31, version 3.3.7*

Still using 2017 protocols

### 1/5 — Not a resource for EMS

*2013-07-27, version 3.2*

There is no way to contact medical command or send photos other than EKG.
All phone numbers listed are of hospital switchboards. When called it results in multiple transfers and still no ER notification.
Recommend just getting the Allegheny app and having their one call system notify Presby. Much less hassle.

### 2/5 — Great app but...

*2024-02-27, version 4.1.0*

Needs newest version of the Protocols. 2023.

Could we add, ER notification, and Medical Command phone numbers to the hospital info?

Also could we add ER door codes?

### 2/5 — Needs to be updated

*2019-08-07, version 3.3.7*

Needs to be updated to 2019 protocols ASAP. Still set at 2017. Doesn’t include 7003 at all at the moment.

### 2/5 — Needs UPDATED! Please!😒🤔

*2019-04-01, version 3.3.7*

Please update this app! Lazy!🙄

### 2/5 — Idea lacks stability

*2013-07-24, version 3.2*

This app is wonderful…when it works. It is horribly unstable and crashes frequently. There is no easy way to get in contact with the development team to send crash reports and give feedback to spur much needed stability improvements. This app crashes 5/6 times opened which is a real shame. The information is up to date which is excellent. There are also some great references within the app, however, with the ongoing crash issues over several updates, this is only worthy of 2 stars. I would be happy to send crash reports and suggestions along if I am contacted by UPMC.

### 3/5 — Decent app for PA Providers!

*2024-08-23, version 4.3.1*

Nice to have current protocols, some proof reading of information would be nice as well as organizing the hospitals that fall under one umbrella / are part of a health system instead of randomly listed. Like stated decent app, better ones out there.

### 3/5 — Pretty cool

*2019-09-24, version 3.3.7*

Lots of cool features and functionality. Between protocol access, and drugs lists and calculations.

Only 2 gripes. If corrected I’ll upvote to 5 stars.

1. When you use ems imaging to transmit. It doesn’t confirm that your transmission was successful. Even text messages these days tell you if something was successfully delivered.

2. Protocols need updated.

Otherwise. Great app.

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Great features and Easy to use.

*2016-07-18, version 3.3.5*

Easy to access any protocol and many tools even on the fly.

### 5/5 — Medic

*2015-12-29, version 3.3.3*

After upgrade when you try and bring up hospitals crash you out of the app when will this be fixed

### 5/5 — Great app but...

*2015-08-17, version 3.2.1*

Could we add, ER notification, and Medical Command phone numbers to the hospital info?

Also could we add ER door codes?

### 5/5 — Great, but needs updated

*2015-07-30, version 3.2.1*

This app is great for all levels of EMS providers! Full of information, protocols, tools, I use this app frequently. The "send STAT" is especially useful in my rural area. With this being said, the app needs updated to the current statewide 2015 BLS protocols. A lot has changed, and soon this app will become outdated.

### 5/5 — Update

*2015-04-01, version 3.2.1*

Great App. Can you please add the updates and include the new critical care protocols?

### 5/5 — Great App!!

*2013-03-11, version 3.1*

Great app indeed but curious when they'll update to the 2013 protocols.

### 5/5 — NREMT-P

*2012-12-17, version 3.1*

Must have for UPMC command providers. Works awesome.

### 5/5 — Great App!

*2012-09-18, version 3.1*

A very quick reference to use in the field! Works great.

### 5/5 — Must have :)

*2012-01-30, version 2.0.1*

Nice to have all these features at the touch of a finger!

### 5/5 — Best EMS app for PA Providers!

*2011-11-22, version 1.0*

This is by far the best protocol app for pa ems providers, however it would be nice to have all als drug profiles for what the state allows & all hospitals or at least a way to add hospitals. Otherwise great job.
