I have been using this service since September 2025 but effective June 1, 2026 I can no longer scan the code to see if it’s a eligible item. I have to type in the numbers which is difficult given my limited mobility.  I spoke with customer service web service and they couldn’t assist me either. I have been using an iPhone and for some reason it just stopped working.

UPDATE 2: now I can’t login at all!! Bravo guys 🙄You update the plan for start of new year and I can’t login to app with password or biometrics to see details UPDATE: Can’t view message inbox via the app. I tap on it repeatedly and it NEVER opens plus Face ID not working AGAIN 🙄 We can’t login without having to enter our login info EVERY time and then having to get a code sent to you via text Why are you making this more difficult 😣 when Face ID is secure?! It’s almost like you don’t want us to use the app?! | Can’t even search for a doctor easily on the app 🙄 You can’t sort by distance and when I tap on a name in results to view details I get a page with nothing 😒 Completely USELESS | New app update is HORRID! I can’t even type a reply to message on app! As soon as I type one character its immediately submitted! So a message that was important to closed by their system for thinking I was sending spam messages! This is ridiculous! I should be able to type in the app without issues 😡 | Face ID NOT working. Why do I have Face ID enabled if your app is going to make me login with the password EVERY time anyhow!!? | I sent a message that I was disappointed the upcoming change to OTC card STILL does not take into consideration those of us who do not drive. I then receive the scripted response and it says I can “Add a response” in 5 days. But there’s no way to do so! So I have to start this process all over again. Frankly getting fed up with the disabled who don’t drive being ignored. Not everyone on Medicare is over 65. Some of us are legally disabled and UPMC is failing us.

This app has been so useful and id love to give it five starts however it has one annoying pain point. Why would the default option be to show you a plan you had years ago?? The default should be the then-current plan. Customer service said there is no way to switch this on my end. Developers please, please, please make the change so the current plan is the default when logging in. Please and thank you.
