Especially we needed an outsider with no conflict of interest. We had no idea where to look for help. A friend recommended Upnotch. The mentor we found helped answer all of our questions and guided us through the entire process. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Not useful *2024-12-25, version 4.7.3* I really don’t see the need for an app. It doesn’t work and the retention rate is terrible. Mentors don’t respond or they just stop interacting after a few sessions. ### 1/5 — Frustrating. Mentors don’t really have the need to continue using the platform. *2024-10-26, version 4.5.0* It took months for me to find a mentor on this app. I eventually found one but he eventually told me he would prefer to continue our sessions outside the platform as it doesn’t do anything else. We continued our mentoring session outside Upnotch. ### 1/5 — Gatekept by Devs *2023-11-10* Go through the sign up process only to be told they are letting people in slowly. It’s been live for 4 years which means they are choosing who gets in and doesn’t. Very hard to find a mentor. The CEO of this app was in touch with me to help me find a mentor. It’s been more than 2 months and I haven’t found one yet. The platform also offers communities of interest (ex.
