I noticed 70% of the ads has been over 1 minute long, close to 80 secs now and I’ve been prompted to log in almost daily when it never was like this before. It’s not worth it when the rewards are so few. I noticed 70% of the ads has been over 1 minute long, close to 80 secs now and I’ve been prompted to log in almost daily when it never was like this before. It took forever to reach the first payout and now I’m looking forward to deleting the app. ### 3/5 — Too long *2024-08-06, version 3.8* After 8 months of daily usage as a premium member, I am still at least a month away from 50,000 coins and a $20 payout. That is too long frankly. Not worth the time to play the ads to collect coins. After I cash out my 50,000 coins I will be taking a break from Upper Edge until sometime when it appears thet have improved the payout to 20,000 coins for $20. ### 4/5 — Unable to login *2024-07-17* App stopped working. Prompts me to sign in multiple times but still couldn’t go through. I lost all my edge coins. There is nothing in the app support to report the problem. Thanks again for using the Upper Edge Fitness App. ### 2/5 — Decent has potential *2024-04-11, version 3.2* At the rate which you can earn coins it will take almost a year to reach the $5 Amazon card. Your ad to earn 5 coins has been broken for some time now. When you attempt to watch an ad to collect your 10 coin reward it only works half the time. I was almost at the withdrawal limit before an app change and my coins did NOT transfer over so I lost all my earnings. I would like to continue using the app but it’s just taking too long to get even $5. Had I not lost almost 8000 coins I may have a different opinion. ### 1/5 — YOU DON’T GET THE FULL REWARD *2024-03-31* WARNING. You don’t get the full $10 reward. PayPal takes off fees and you end up getting around $6. What a joke. I watch all the ads daily, walk 10k and 12 flights of stairs just to get $6? I have other apps that I receive full rewards without the cut. Will not take this app seriously anymore. ### 2/5 — Just a heads up! *2024-03-10, version 3.4* It’s a good app. I was thinking I would receive my full $5. But when I went to cash out for a PayPal gift card there was a fee to pay. I didn’t got my full $5. Upper edge fitness said it’s not on their end it’s from PayPal. PayPal with held the money. I had to wait to receive it. Just a warning 🤷🏻‍♀️ ### 1/5 — Terrible Downfall *2024-02-22* Formerly Upper Edge Fitness was one of the absolute best paid-for-step apps around! Then suddenly, out of the blue, the hour video check-ins stopped working entirely! Yes, I tried WiFi, I tried roaming data, and I even tried a third party's WiFi just in case it was a problem with my own home's internet. Even updated my phone! Nope. NOTHING WORKED. Yes, thank goodness it still works for flights and total steps. But the hour check in was its biggest advantage, and poof, suddenly that's gone!! Fun that it counts my steps. I can earn money from walking and working out. But I am not sure if it’s only PayPal gift card does it. Or if Amazon gift card will give you a the full amount. For PayPal giftcard to receive it there is a fee. You don’t get the full amount ### 1/5 — As others have mentioned *2026-04-20, version 4.0* Have used this app for a long time and over the years it’s seems to get worse. The payout every 2-3 years becomes increasingly ridiculous to achieve. Worst earnings rate on step to earn apps ### 1/5 — Excellent Concept, Atrocious Execution *2025-01-24* It seems like the Upper Edge Fitness app has been steadily rolling down hill, and now just fell off the cliff. Yes, the concept of app is awesome. But, the execution has been getting worse and worse. First, it's infuriating that you can never stream Upper Edge videos on Wi-Fi, and must use roaming data. Second, the past week it keeps logging me out every time I close the app. Then this morning it fell off the cliff, because it logged me out and will not let me log back in at all!! You walk or run it’s not working. ### 1/5 — Confusing rewards *2024-11-15, version 3.8* I cashed out $5 to PayPal using my edge coins. But I only received $3.26. It never happened to other similar apps. It’s confusing and disappointing. ### 1/5 — Forced ads or membership *2024-04-08, version 3.5* I’ve tried quite a few of these steps-for-rewards apps, and while all of them have some kind of marketing incentive to get more points, such as watching ads or shopping for deals, often times those apps give you a choice of whether you want to do it or not. With upper edge there is no choice. Without a membership, you have no choice but to spend time navigating the app and letting ads play in order to redeem any points at all. Very unappealing. ### 1/5 — Don’t waste your time *2024-04-01* They allow cheaters to use this app and when you confront devs about it they come up with some fairytale story about how they have all these steps in place to prevent such things.
