## What is Upscalr?

Upscalr makes your photos sharper, clearer and bigger — with Smart Enhance processing that runs entirely on your device. No upload, no account, no cloud.

Old, blurry or low-resolution pictures get a second life: Upscalr enlarges them up to 4x and sharpens edges, fine detail and texture. Faces stay natural, colors are preserved, and a before/after slider shows exactly what changed.

Enhancement results can vary by device and platform: Upscalr always uses the best local processing pipeline available on your hardware. It improves the sharpness, clarity and size of real detail — it cannot invent detail that was never in the picture.

We fixed how the system permission request for personalized ads is displayed. This version also includes minor stability improvements for smoother image upscaling and saving.

Fixed: users with an active Premium purchase are no longer asked about ad preferences or app tracking at launch. If you have Premium, there are no ads, so there is nothing to ask about.

Updated the app's privacy declaration so it accurately reflects how ads work for free users.
