## What is UpSurgeOn X?

Step into the operating room — without the radiation. X-Ray turns your iPad into a real-time fluoroscopy system for hands-on surgical training: the world's first mobile X-Ray built for simulation.

Using your iPad's cameras and, where available, the LiDAR sensor, X-Ray tracks the exact position of your surgical instruments relative to your UpSurgeOn simulator and generates a live radiographic view as you operate. Unlike a static CT scan, X-Ray reacts in real time — advance a needle, set a trajectory, or release a pedicle screw and watch the imaging update instantly, exactly as it would under intraoperative fluoroscopy. Zero radiation. Zero C-arm.

Master image-guided spine surgery anywhere. From landmark setting to trajectory planning, rehearse the full imaging workflow of real procedures as many times as you need — on whichever spinal segment your UpSurgeOn simulator covers.

WHY SURGEONS CHOOSE X-RAY
• Real-time imaging, not a static scan — your view updates live as you move
• No C-arm, no operating room, no radiation exposure
• Infinitely repeatable — drill the same approach until it's second nature
• Fully portable — a complete fluoroscopy suite that fits on a tabletop
• Built for trajectory planning, needle placement and implant positioning

GENERIC AND CUSTOM INSTRUMENTS
Out of the box, X-Ray works with a generic instrument set — including a needle and a screwdriver that releases generic implant screws — so you can start training immediately. Need your own devices in the picture? UpSurgeOn offers custom instrument modeling as a dedicated service: your instruments are loaded to our secure back-end and unlocked in the app after you log in. Ideal for MedTech companies that want to showcase their technologies and train clinicians on them.

WHO IT'S FOR
Neurosurgeons and spine surgeons, residents and fellows, medical students, training institutions, and MedTech partners seeking cadaver-free, radiation-free, image-guided practice.

REQUIREMENTS
• A compatible UpSurgeOn simulator is required. X-Ray works exclusively with UpSurgeOn simulators and has no standalone functionality without one.
• iPad with Apple M1 chip or later — iPad Pro recommended for the best experience.
• A LiDAR sensor, where available, enables enhanced instrument tracking.

X-Ray and all UpSurgeOn simulators are intended solely for education, training and simulation. They are not medical devices and are not intended for clinical, diagnostic or patient-care use. X-Ray does not emit or use any ionizing radiation — all imaging is simulated.

Download X-Ray for free and bring real-time surgical imaging to your training — anytime, anywhere.
