A guy at a tournament told me about UpTakes so I gave it a shot. You just raise your phone toward the field and it starts recording, lower it and it stops — took me a game to actually trust it, but now I don’t even think about it. What surprised me is it has you keep or toss each clip right after you film it, so by the time we’re walking to the car the highlight reel is basically done and I’m not sorting through an hour of footage that night. For wishlist, if saving the video could be done in the background that would be great to get back to recording quicker and maybe even a send to app (like instagram) for quicker highlight posting.
