Give me a one time in app purchase to unlock it and then I would consider it. It also needs a “simple” mode. The colored bars for history are not useful to me. Push notifications behind a paywall is not a big deal to me. It’s like £10 a year, sure I’ll support and pay that. You can also use other services in your server like email alerting and Discord notifications which are free. So I don’t see the complain there. Keep up the good work! But if my phone is in sleep focus all notifications are muted. Great product. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Does what it says but monetization is absurd. *2026-01-11* App does what it’s supposed to (which is connect to the actual self hosted Uptime Kuma, the program doing the heavy lifting here - and the program that is open-source and COMPLETELY FREE) If they provided a one time purchase I would throw them a couple bucks, once. ### 1/5 — Spinner works *2025-11-01* Cannot get it to go through the first screen. Spinner works, nothing else. ### 1/5 — iOS App Worthless *2024-12-09* The software is great. It works great. It’s easy to use, etc., this App on the other hand appears to only be able to send you push notifications and I’m not even positive that’s working. The test works once but won’t work after the first time. You can’t see any of the monitors at all in the app. Not even any of the groups. The app seems to have a section where they would be, but none appear. Not even if I use the app to add a monitor for a service the app discovered using bonjour. If I hadn’t of paid for it I wouldn’t write a negative review because it is an open source service and they do need to get money someway. Also there are pretty obvious fake 5 star reviews. I do understand that the developer wants to make money off the app but I'm not convinced to spend money MONTHLY for a service which I already have to pay server costs for. A one-time purchase would suit the app better in my opinion. ### 1/5 — Connection not working *2024-02-14* While using an on-prem uptime kuma server, adding it (with TLS), is not working. App is freezing. **Developer response:** Sorry to hear that it's not working for you properly. We identified the issue and it will be fixed in next version. Currently the app doesn't respond if the url entered ends with /. You can drop the / character at the end of there url to workaround this issue for now. Only way out is to cancel. UPDATE: Useless. Just deleted… **Developer response:** Update: we identified the issue and it will be fixed in next version. Currently the app doesn't respond if the url entered ends with /. You can drop the / character at the end of there url to workaround this issue for now.
