Love the app but using the free version is useless. Even if I’m okay manually entering everything, there is no way to export a report that shows anything.

There was an issue with the app charging me before the trial period was over as well as some technical issues. I was obviously upset. The owner emailed back right away to rectify the situation which I really appreciated. I’m not sure if the app will work for my purposes but I can definitely say the app developers are proactive and care about user experience.

Doing my taxes as a freelancer used to take ages, and cause me a lot of stress. Upward is easy to use, and gives me confidence that I’m not making a mistake.

My accounting used to be a mess as a contractor (spreadsheet hell). This is a life saver with quarterly estimates and deduction tracking. Subscription well worth it!!

As a freelancer, it had been such a pain to figure out what I owed the government in taxes. Upward made that problem go away. It lets me categorize transactions as deductible expenses, see how much I can save through self-employment IRAs, combine all my account balances into a summary view, and set up rules to auto categorize my personal and business transactions accordingly.
