Maybe it’s intended or I just ran a poorly optimized operation or something but it took me like 2 or 3 lives just to be able to go to any other city. I like the idea of levels unlocking new products and places to go and what not but I just think that the grind should be shortened or you need to add to the gameplay cycle to make it not as repetitive. Also a way to reduce police heat other than passing multiple months or just in general more depth to the police and how you gain heat. Production labs would be great like the first game too although I’d like to see some improvements to them? Maybe instead of yearly product it can function like a real lab where you pay overhead for supplies and flip it? Could add more risk with getting raided too. Idk that ones kinda spitball anyways great game though love to see the updates. **Developer response:** Thanks, really appreciate the feedback. I just wish my purchases from the first one were transferred over. You get arrested and raided often. Either you pay for currency to get out of jail or be sentenced to 10+years. They pretty much found a better way to squeeze money out of your pocket with part 2 **Developer response:** Thanks for the feedback. Purchases from the original game don’t transfer to UDE2 as it’s a separate game. Gold is optional, you can serve your sentence and continue playing without paying. Immediately when starting it feels so much more pay to win than the first and I really don’t like that. I get the gold for keeping your life and that but charging to re open safe houses and get out of jail just feels cheeky. There should atleast be an add option. But this one just begs to take your money. Sad thing is I even been following and waiting for the release.. pre ordered and everything. I’m just going to continue the first one. I guess it’s just true, every game after the first one is garbage. I don’t mind supporting developers.. but uh this time nope. I get it you don’t have to pay…. Blah blah. We’re already working on changes that will allow players to earn Gold through progression UDE2 is going to keep evolving through updates, and hopefully we can win you back. ### 1/5 — Unpolished & False Promises *2026-08-19* There is a lack of entertainment value. Empire “level up” is very grindy and dull. Police Heat does not decrease, even if you change cities. It only decreases if you get arrested as if to punish you for making bank. You’ll be stuck with your money, barely able to buy anything until you spend endless hours increasing your Empire rank. There is no way to continue your current life or keep your safe houses from getting temporarily closed without having to spend real life money. Their excuse is that it’s a “new game” even though it’s supposed to be a sequel. They promised UDE 1 Premium players to get an exclusive hideout, car and weapon from day one of release. They Lied. None were implemented. Might I add that they said it’d be “free”. The event pop ups are too fast and don’t get logged. You can barely read them or go back to reading them. Every polish feature that made the original game good was thrown out. This game needs at least another year in the oven. **Developer response:** UDE2 was rebuilt from the ground up to support much bigger updates going forward. It won’t have everything from day one, so if it feels light right now, feel free to check back as the game grows. ### 1/5 — Just a money pit *2026-08-18* This is a shell of the first version no matter how often you say it’s a different game at least the first had travel options and different prices and more options I. Everything there’s no bribe no lottery no doctor nothing it’s like the test version of the first I waited for this game to come out and wound up disappointed you die often and have to use gold to keep progress and then you offer one video after you die so your forced to buy gold **Developer response:** I understand why you’re disappointed with some of the systems from the first game not being there yet. UDE2 has a different progression structure, but we’re actively adding more depth, options and ways to earn rewards without purchases. You made this one look nicer, but you added more death and events which want gold to get through without major setback. You can't get things that upgrade with gold. I loved it a lot and when I found out about 2 I was super excited for a new start. I will start with the good. There are some really good new features like separating Sell and Buy as well well as you can see how much profit your making. That’s about it. Cons. This whole game is a cash grab pay to win. What was my favorite mobile game now is just another Cash Grab on the market **Developer response:** Thanks for the feedback. Gold is optional and helps support continued development, updates and new content for the game. ### 2/5 — Game is missing a lot but very early still *2026-08-16* Firstly gameplay is simpler than the first and lacks many options in attacking and more detailed breakdown. The game is also missing customization per life and other different things to do. Even if you buy the Starter Pack gets some gold and no adds you will lacks ability to keep empire per life and need to buy gold constantly. Instead need to constantly start over again and again for Empire XP which barely makes a difference and is very stale as little difference in new lives. Lives are very stale except when in combat or fleeting stage where you can pass very low or low can fail very high as well feel like probability is rough. Rng takes a lot out of detailed choices from first game. Lastly didn't receive any legacy rewards as specified online even though bought premium last game and linked on same account. Hopeful they flesh out the game as currently plays like a shell of the last one. Honestly feels a bit of a cash grab with how many lives need and rapid gold usage when lives are wasted by rng no matter the odds just to keep empire wealth. **Developer response:** Thanks for the detailed feedback. We’re continuing to add more variety and content, and legacy rewards are still coming in a future update. ### 2/5 — Another pay to play *2026-08-15* I loved this game but it’s really really annoying that I paid for the remove ads and all that and now I still have to pay to play. You need gold to continue your empire if you die and for other things. Just stupid. **Developer response:** Thanks for the feedback. We’re continuing to review the balance and economy based on player feedback. ### 2/5 — Playing at release *2026-08-15* I really enjoyed the first one but this one has significantly less features and functions, has potential to be great but needs updates fast ### 3/5 — Good *2026-08-29* Loveits ### 3/5 — It’s an okay game *2026-08-25* Okay so yes it’s a good game and the trade stock market value is a little predictable but that’s great the only problem with this game which makes it to easy is the fact that you can’t join a gang or work for the mafia or stuff like that like you have to do tasks which will help you build your empire that would make plenty of sense and maybe a casino or a form of gambling like let this game be played almost like but life and honestly you need a house to buy instead of just cars, storage, and businesses like I’m bored and a millionaire a 57 and that’s young. I want more stuff to do add a manifold like let people gamble on sports and stuff and you can meet new people like add more stuff and you can meet criminals by choices throughout the game but random games but make it cost money **Developer response:** Thank you for the detailed feedback! Got arrested and had nothing on me and had to do 4 years. They had no proof of anything but still sentenced me . Should be more realistic. I’m just going to go to jail regardless if I have anything or not. No lawyers to protect me , can’t bribe cops, I just started the game so I’m hoping there’s more to it. But i definitely did not appreciate serving 4 years for no reason. Going to continue playing . I really enjoyed the first one. So I was happy to see the new one was coming in a couple weeks. I do remember in the first one we were able to bribe police in order to not be on their radar as much.
