After ordering the sofa on April 6th my delivery was continuously delayed for 20days. I had paid entire amount while ordering. After tons of follow ups I only heard one response that sofa is already sent out to vendor and we can’t do much but wait for the delivery. Everyday I got the response stating it will be delivered in 24hrs, 48hrs etc etc.. when asked for cancellation and refund they straight told we don’t have a cancellation policy so you must wait for the delivery. They don’t have any helpline number only way to reach to customer support is through app chat box which is only open on weekdays 9to6 and everytime you get a new support person and you have to repeat the entire story thousands of times. After waiting for more than a month finally I received my sofa. And guess what the sofa is not at all worth 28k, and it’s damaged!!! I’m so furious, upset and disappointed with urban ladder. They took so much of money, time, efforts, follow ups and still wasn’t able fulfill their responsibility. Very bad and useless platform please don’t order anything from them. Better go for IKEA. They have better products, prices and definitely they respect their customer. If my sofa is not returned I’m straight going to consumer court. We await your response. ### 1/5 — Pathetic Delivery and Customer Care *2024-12-04, version 6.0.3* I would never recommend Urban Ladder for anything. They have the worst customer care, the worst delivery co ordinator and the worst delivery folks. They will cause you lot of mental harassment and will never deliver or install on time. When they say installation within 48 hours, it includes your 48 hours continuous follow up with them, else they won’t install. And customer care is the worst for Urban Ladder in all parameters. I haven’t even seen such a customer care. They do not even know the meaning of customer and care! ### 1/5 — Fraudulent company, flawed processes *2024-11-01* How can you deduct more money than you are showing to the customer? This is a fraudulent practice. And why is there no option for the customer to cancel an order if policies allow for it? Lastly if you are going to shut down entire call centre operations for 2 whole days, ensure that the customer is not inconvenienced. How can you blame the customer for not cancelling an order before shipment when that option is not provided to the customer and the call centre is shut down for 2 whole days. They will be having whole list of reasons prepared to exclude your product from warranty..My dyson coffe table and tv unit shine vanished away and they don’t even provide service for correction. My product was under warranty however they had so many reasons ready to escape. Same with the lawson chair purchased. It broke in few months. Only 60 kg person cannot even sit there. The product quality is a big zero and service rating is in negative. Never have I encountered such a big enterprise give pathetic service and an indifferent staff. No conformation as to when the furniture will be dismantled. Suffered a huge penalty by landlord due to such poor service!!!! Would never recommend anyone to buy from this company. A local furniturewala does better than this. Very disgruntled customer !!!!!!! ### 1/5 — Order only if you have 2-3 months timeline *2024-06-21* They will call you and provide you the best experience before purchase. But they forget that you exist immediately after the purchase. I purchased a bed on 11 May. It’s June 21 now, yet they are not able to commit on a delivery date. Sometimes they say operational issues. Other times they say manufacturing delays at the end of the manufacturer. No one is giving a clear response. Reading other reviews, I feel even if the bed gets delivered in a few days, it’s installation will take a lot more time. The installation team never comes in 48hrs , they have their own ETA which would be mostly 96hrs. Post that every time I have ordered I have received damaged product and it takes forever to get a response from the customer service. Overall it takes around 1-1.5 months to get a product delivered from here. Hence I had the worst experience for both my orders placed from Urban ladder ### 1/5 — Poor quality products and pathetically service *2024-02-13, version 5.6.6* The products we purchased from Urban Ladder started rotting in just one year and since it was past warranty the company started charging high amounts for repair. When consulted with other carpenter for the issue they also highlighted the wood work was poor in the original product. Also charging exorbitantly for technician to visit. Would not recommend to purchase from Urban Ladder if you want to avoid post purchase hassles. ### 1/5 — Poor Product and Customer service is the worst *2024-01-01, version 5.6.6* Received a Sofa which had visible discolouration of fabric, however customer service team insisted that this is acceptable. Service was more like customer harassment than customer satisfaction. Each defect pointed out was rejected as acceptable. When I quoted their own terms and conditions which proves that product is unacceptable - No one has replied from customers team. Horrible experience - Will spread this knowledge that it is best to avoid Urban Ladder. ### 1/5 — Terrible App, No Customer Service *2023-12-06, version 5.6.6* no wonder this garbage company was sold to Ambanis, its a crap app! Delivery person refused to bring furniture from truck to home. Installation person was clueless in assembling furniture. Never use again UL! ### 1/5 — Reliance has turned UL into garbage *2023-12-05, version 5.6.6* Pathetic delivery service, horrible installation service and worst of all horrific customer service that doesnt resolve any single issue. Ordered bed, sofa and closet, they charged 4000 Rs for delivery, and in all the cases One Single Person brought the product in a truck, and simply refused to offload and deliver the product inside the house!! Customer service is robotic & helpless. UL has gone down the drain, Reliance has managed to turn this business into garbage. ### 2/5 — Terrible App, No Customer Service *2023-10-01* no wonder this garbage company was sold to Ambanis, its a crap app! ### 1/5 — Not happy with service *2023-08-29* I purchased a sheesham bed last month. The delivery was supposed to happen a week ago. It did not happen. I asked them to track the product because we as a customer cant track the product on app, there is no option for live tracking. They called me after 2 days saying that delivery got delayed, once the product quality check is done from our end Will dispatch. This they repeated 2-3 times & in the end I received a call from them saying that it will take some more time so “can we cancel the order?” I mean really? After waiting for more than a month is this what you tell to your customer. And worst part is they don’t even provide alternate options. They are simply ready to cancel the order and do nothing. If you want to purchase engineering wood furniture which simply takes 4/5 days, you can purchase. But after this I would not recommend anyone to choose urban ladder. ### 1/5 — Duetto Bed developed Termite after 4 years *2023-06-30, version 5.6.5* I had bought a duetto baled from them where they clqimed the product is termite and moisture free. After using it for 4 yrs one of the corners developed termite infestation. Called customer care they only speak about warranty and dont care about solving the issue or repairing. Pathetic products and pathetic service. Never buy products from them. You can buy them at half the price from outside. Atleast the local carpenter will come and repair ghe product for you. ### 1/5 — Downright Insulting with the Customer Service *2023-06-15* The customer care number doesn’t exist. The date or time committed for delivery or installation is as vague as the communication. If you have an issue and reach out via the chat option, they will take anywhere between 48hrs to infinity to figure out a solution - even though the company must be aware since it’s take over, that there are multiple partners involved. So it’s only you, the customer who pays in time, patience and well money for below average product and services. Only use this app if you are under serious budgetary constraints and have saint like patience with utter incompetence. ### 1/5 — Unprofessional and pathetic service *2023-06-09, version 5.6.3* I had scheduled dismantling service for my bed after making the payment. It was supposed to be done on9/6/23 between 4 to 5pm, i called at 4 pm and i was reassured that service would be done today itself just that there is a slight delay. But service was not done today and i did not recieve any information regarding why it could not be done today and when will it be done. Same issues i faced in december last year. This level of service is not acceptable at all. ### 1/5 — They are running a scam *2023-04-01, version 5.6.3* Extremely pathetic service. They are duping people off their money, running a scam. I was told that my bed will be installed within 48 hours. They wrote me an email and texted me saying that my installation was scheduled between a certain time. Nobody turned up, 2 days in a row nobody turned up. Customer support is even worse. They would just apologise and say give us sometime, but they are never able to provide any meaningful resolution of any sort, and even had the audacity to hang up my call. 6 different times I had to call the customer support and explain to 6 different people. They simple vile away time till 6 after which they would just not be available anymore. Would never recommend Urban Ladder ever to anyone. It is extremely frustrating. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Delivery and installation *2026-07-17, version 7.1.0* Very disappointed with delivery and installation, the large idle packages just takes huge usable space at home while long waiting of installation ### 1/5 — Worst Service till now I have seen *2026-03-09, version 7.0.6* Extremely frustrating experience with Urban Ladder. I placed an order and paid more than 120,000, but later I was informed that the product I purchased was out of stock. It has now been more than 10 day: no resolution. To resolve the issue, I tried every possible communication channel - customer care calls, emails, chat through the app, and even a video call with their support team. I have called more than 10 times an hours just following up. The biggest issue is that there is no cancellation option in their website or mobile app, which forces customers to depend completely on customer support. What makes the situation worse is that every support channel provides a different answer. One person says the order will be updated, another says I need to cancel it myself, and another asks me to place a ne instructions keep changing depending on who you speak with. Their current process is that I must: • Place a new order first • Share the new order ID with them • Call them again to cancel the original order • Then wait 7 business days for the refund This entire situation happened because Urban Ladder sold a product that was not available in stock, yet the customer is expected to spend hours chasing support to resolve it. For an order value of t120k+, the service and management processes are extremely disappointing. Poor inventory management, confusing procedures, and very inefficient customer service. ### 1/5 — Vague Product Delivery Timelines *2026-01-09, version 7.0.3* Some products are given 1.5-2 months delivery time, and then nobody shows up on the delivery day. When enquired about the same, customer care says that the product did not pass the quality check, so they did not deliver the product. On being asked when can I expect it, the customer care says it may take upto another 25-30 days, that too not a sure shot time. The company should stop taking orders for such products if they cannot fulfil the deliveries. Avoid this app if possible. ### 1/5 — Pathetic sofa and Customer service *2025-12-05, version 7.0.2* I bought sofa from 3 months ago and sofa leg was tilt because installation not done properly and when carpenter removed the cloths from bottom of the sofa then we are shock sofa leg was inserting in plywood piece, do not buy sofa from brand need to call customer care for many times their service was pathetic. I raised the complaint still sofa not picked up and sales executive not responding your calls, really frustrating to call again and again. ### 1/5 — Pathetic delivery and application experience *2025-07-31, version 6.0.8* Products aren’t bad. Prices are slightly above the usual prices. Return and cancellation policies are very very bad. Delivery experience in Mumbai has been the most pathetic. Delivery guys will call you on last minute and don’t reschedule or consider your request. Follow ups needed for installation and delivery are insane. They take more than 20-25 days after ordering to complete your request. Better to get from local vendors. ### 1/5 — Bad Experience *2025-07-15, version 6.0.7* Urban ladder is a delivery company because they just deliver and forget about the product. I ordered an Office Table and it is very uncomfortable to use. the Chair doesn’t go inside. If your point is just getting delivered to customer is your work done, then there will be many better options compared to you. Will ensure this to be my last order from Urban Ladder. Not done. ### 1/5 — Very poor product quality and extremely bad Customer experience *2025-06-06* I have bought a online sofa from urban ladder , at first they delayed the delivery by weeks and didn’t inform then I received the sofa in very shape which cannot be repaired. I complaint about it then they agreed to pick the sofa without providing the temporary sofa as I have already disposed my old sofa. I need to follow up to pick the sofa despite that they didn’t pick it on the committed date.I got the replaced sofa with broken frame and legs. It’s pathetic to talk to the customer care and escalation team as they take week time to get back without any resolution. Since it wasn’t available in-store, I relied on the salesperson to place the order. However, upon delivery, the color appears faded and different from the online images, and the comfort is not as expected. There is no option for return or exchange, which is very disappointing. I recommend not buying any furniture if it’s not available to see in the store. ### 1/5 — Bought a product and got sagging issue in 6 months *2024-12-25, version 6.0.4* We bought a sofa which can be converted in to bed and with in 6 months the sofa got sagging issue and it was confirmed by urban ladder technician who visited to our house and confirmed it and shared the report to the higher authority now they are saying the vendor is denying regarding this and they stopped updating us regarding this which we followed up for the 25 days i would recommend to go see the product and buy in local shop so that you will get long term instead of buying in urban ladder with lack of service ### 1/5 — Pathetic service *2024-12-14* I got a centre table on October 30th, with a drawer that was damaged. Since that date, for the last 45 days, I’m trying to get the drawer replaced. They are not able to manage their vendor, nor the delivery partner Delhivery. How stupid is it that the entire centre table was delivered without asking for any proof, and for delivering the drawer (which they only had sent damaged), they are asking for Urbanladder’s stamp? How would the customer have the stamp? If not the stamp, they are asking for Aadhaar card. So I’m just stupid enough to give over my Aadhaar details to any courier boy? However, I was not at ease to order something expensive before checking it out physically. Urban ladder offline store helped me out with the in-person experience. I had ordered sofa set from Urban Ladder and it was delivered to me before schedule and at my convenient time. Their coordinator was respectful to my timing rather than theirs. During assembly they noticed some scratches in one of the fittings, which they on their own requested for replacement. Within few hours I received the notification for replacement order (I did not have to contact their customer care for the replacement) and it was delivered at my convenience. As of now, it has been a great experience to shop from Urban Ladder.
