They Outsourced delivery to DoorDash
DoorDash cancelled delivery
They did nothing about it. Food sitting there cold, no refund no delivery

Just order via DoorDash and don’t do their plate pass nonsense

The payment page and system is inoperable. There are also tons of loading bugs throughout the rest of the app. I won’t be able to purchase any longer if this isn’t fixed.

Would give zero if I could. I have tried every iteration/version of this app over 15 years and NEVER lets me pay. I always have to call it in and pay in store.  Every time I try the app looks different and I get hopeful then when I get to that part NEVER works.

App cannot remember plate pass number despite paying a $5/mo membership. Often forces me to pay full price. App functionality disintegrates when I try and input my plate pass number. Even trying to create a new membership with my order fails AND loses my entire entered order.

**Developer response:** We're really sorry for the trouble, a membership issue like this is especially frustrating when you're paying for it monthly. We've released several updates recently with a number of fixes, so please make sure you're on the latest version. In the meantime, try logging out and back into your account as a quick troubleshooting step. App glitched and failed to process the order after I submitted payment. Had to reorder. Deleted the app because I might as well order from the website which works well.

### 1/5 — Gift Card Scam - Still Terrible

Update:
Can now use ONE partial gift card at a time. Additionally, if you’re in store and have the gift card saved to your payment methods. It is impossible to use that to pay.  Additionally the App will not display the gift card number for staff to help. If you try to lookup a gift card balance it brings it up in an external site / browser. Well, it tries to. It failed every time I tried. 

Beyond this. The app prompts users to accept cookies on EVERY SINGLE NEW PAGE. 

I wanted to like urban plates but they consistently fail to support their customers or provide an enjoyable experience.

Unable to redeem gift cards if they cannot cover a whole meal. Have a $10 gift card and a credit card on file? Want to use your gift card value up and pay the remainder on your credit card like any sane or competent application? Nope! Urban Plates does not let you do this!

Beyond that the app is clunky and online orders are always serviced poorly in person.

This app is UNUSABLE. It’s supposed to save me money through discounts but if it never works, I have zero reason to return to Urban Plates. It’s literally not that hard.

Cannot use gift card to pay partial payment with credit card. This used to work. Now I can only pay full amount with one payment option only. This makes gift card almost useless in app.
