I think this app should allow 1 late cancellation per pay cycle to not punish people for waking up sick every now and then. Dass man nur einmal am Tag einchecken kann ist immer noch für mich ein großer verloren gegangen gesunder Luxus. Immer mehr wird gekürzt und eingespart. Ich mag das System sehr, weil es für mich als Mensch, der in der Stadt wohnt und Rückenbeschwerden hat einfach die perfekte Mischung ist. Ich kann meine Balance mit all den Möglichkeiten finden und leben. Würde mir wünschen dass Yoga Studios besser bezahlt werden. Das ist teilweise eine Frechheit und grenzt an Ausbeutung gegenüber Yoga LehrerInnen. Wenn Partner ausscheiden oder hinzukommen bekommt meine keine Benachrichtigung dazu. Somit muss man nicht extra filtern oder ständig einen Standort öffnen und schließen. Nur leider scheint bei mir die Karte kleine Bugs zu haben, denn manchmal lässt sie sich nicht bewegen oder zoomen, sondern springt ständig hin und her. Ansonsten aber eine gute App. ### 1/5 — Amateur level app *2026-03-06* The app is absolutely terrible but perhaps it is made by a small team without UX designers. Or perhaps nobody that works at this company has ever tried to use the app. For example if you want to find a venue on the map it won’t show up if you search by name unless you adjust the zoom which is an insane UX decision that makes zero sense. Why would a user want to zoom around on this aweful map with tiny markers to try to find venues? If I type the name it should just come up - this is incredibly basic UX that whoever designed or product manages this app seems to not understand at all. Even worse is that if you do set the correct zoom then it still doesn’t automatically show up unless you click on a tiny map marker! Just incomprehensible how a company could make a UI that is so unbelievably poorly designed. Any 13 year old kid or AI agent could design something better in under a day. ### 1/5 — Waste of money *2026-03-04, version 7.6.1* I keep getting errors when I try to book a specific studio. Customer service is useless. Best classes have only 2 spots. Ich finde allerdings die Suche absolut unübersichtlich. Zudem sind die Filtermöglichkeiten für mich unzureichend. Ich wünsche mir schon lange die Möglichkeit nach Mitgliedschaft filtern zu können um auf einen Blick sehen zu können, welchen Mehr- oder Minderwert meine Mitgliedschaft. Außerdem ist es unmöglich explizit nach Plus-Angeboten zu filtern. Die bleiben somit meist ungenutzt, es sei denn man stolpert mal zufällig über eins. Vielleicht könnt ihr das ja mal berücksichtigen. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Fraudulent Scheme *2026-09-01* With one day’s notice, they canceled the Body and Soul Gym, for which I recently signed up for a 2-year membership. I asked if I could get out of the contract, but no: I have to pay the full two years, even though I can’t use the gym anymore. They told me I should go to other gyms, but the ones they have don’t offer what I’m looking for (close, with sauna). What a rip off! **Developer response:** Hello. Now I get an email that my case is handed over to debt collection! Incredible. Truly disgusting business practice. ### 1/5 — Terminos y condiciones abusivos *2026-05-21, version 7.7.1* Mucho cuidado con esta app. Tiene unos términos y condiciones muy abusivos. Todo son facilidades para contratar pero luego te intentan cobrar por cancelaciones y no permite modificar los métodos de pago de su web. No ponen fácil contactar con atención al cliente incluso con su elevado precio. ### 1/5 — Beware - they treat their customers like ATMs… *2026-05-12, version 7.7.1* Beware - they treat their customers like ATMs by charging you penalty fees for failing to check-in to classes booked through their app that don’t even actually exist. The app itself is super buggy, and they have a non-existent/understaffed customer support that will ghost you continuously when in need of human intervention - which is often. After having been member for 3+ years I needed to update my payment info as I was closing my then bank account - I kept updating to my new payment info yet the app didn’t update to the new payment details and kept overcharging my old account causing me penalty fees at my old bank, and regardless of countless emails and messages and calls explaining the situation and urging them to fix the error and stop charging the wrong account - no response was given other than the automated customer support reply saying they were backed up on their workload and would get back to me when available… no fix was provided, but they kept charging my account(!) leaving me no other option then to end my membership with USC. After a year I received a letter (by way of my neighbor in the adjacent building as the letter was wrongly addressed) in German from a German debt collecting agency insisting I pay 200+% interest on the outstanding debt of one months worth of membership that I had been doing my best to pay a year prior. I payed the outstanding debt minus the collection agencies extortion fee. In summary: the sad truth is that USC is not an app dedicated to your health - it’s solely made to extract money from you through automated payment subscriptions. ### 1/5 — The app is BROKEN *2026-05-05, version 7.7.1* The app is broken. Devs didn’t fix the issue from years. When you try to book the search tool does not work and the keyboard covers all the screen. It’s tiring. ### 1/5 — FIX YOUR SEARCH!!!!! *2026-05-02, version 7.7.0* I love urban sports but please fix your app. How hard it is to fix a search feature. Your app has a terrible user interface when it comes to searching for a venue or activity. ### 1/5 — Does not show available courses or venues *2026-04-21* Unusable. Just updated and the listings on the app in *no way* match the number and type of courses and venues on the web site. So buggy. Y’all, the app has two jobs: to find courses and check in. Meticulous planning is required to make the most of it and I would expect it to be much simpler for such membership. It needs to be changed so that some facilities at least can be checked in even if you have already used a gym or a class. Man tippt ein Yogastudio ein, die App kennt es nicht, obwohl es Teil einer Kette ist und man schon zig Mal dort war: „keine Suchergebnisse“. Radiuserweiterung, berlinweite Suche muss man umständlich eingeben. Oft zeigt meine Umkreissuche kein einziges Sportangebot an, obwohl ich in zig Studios schon persönlich war. Die Kartensuche: pure Katastrophe, man kann nicht mal eingeben, wenn die App nur aktive Kurse anzeigen soll und keine Geisterstudios bzw Karteileichen ohne Angebot. Die Kartensuche am PC: reinzoomen geht, zoomt man raus landet man plötzlich in nen random Stadtteil und muss sich seinen mühsam erkämpften Kartenausschnitt wieder zurücksuchen. Karte mit Maus verschieben Dennoch suche ich Kurse lieber am PC, da kann man wenigstens Stadtteile auswählen und bekommt auch was angezeigt. In der App ist oft Fehlanzeige - zu gleicheb Uhrzeit im selben Viertel. USC hat noch so viel mehr bugs, hab jetzt nur keine Lust mehr zu tippen. Ich bin eine sehr aktive Person und mache viele Aktivitätsarten. Ich tanze, mache Yoga, calisthenics, freies Training und möchte jetzt Boxen probieren. Da ich auch viel in der Stadt unterwegs bin, bietet sich für mich das Angebot perfekt an, da ich jederzeit checken kann, was sich gerade in der Nähe befindet. Allerdings würde ich mir bessere Konditionen für Studiobetreibende wünschen. Ich hoffe, es findet sich bald eine Lösung! ### 5/5 — EXTRA ZUSATZKOSTEN *2026-05-10* Die Idee hinter der App ist gut, aber das System ist unnötig kompliziert. Man zahlt bereits hohe Monatsgebühren und darf manche Studios trotzdem nur wenige Male im Monat besuchen. Dazu kommen teilweise zusätzliche Karten, Zugangssysteme oder extra Kosten, die vorher nicht immer klar erklärt werden. Besonders ärgerlich: Selbst wenn man korrekt über die App eingecheckt ist, kann man Probleme bekommen, wenn man irgendeine Zusatzkarte vergessen hat. Das fühlt sich nicht wie eine moderne Fitness-Mitgliedschaft an, sondern eher wie ein verwirrendes Sammelsystem aus Regeln und Einschränkungen. Ich habe lediglich eine Anmerkung: und zwar habe ich das Problem, dass ich ein mal favorisierte Studios nicht mehr entfavorisieren kann. Das ist einfach umständlich und unpraktisch. I love it!! ### 5/5 — Tolles Angebot, aber das "1 Check-in Limit" macht die Flexibilität kaputt *2026-03-22* Grundsätzlich bin ich ein großer Fan von Urban Sports Club. Die Auswahl an Studios und Sportarten ist unschlagbar und für jemanden wie mich, der sich nicht an ein einziges Fitnessstudio binden möchte, eigentlich ideal. Aber leider gibt es ein massives Problem, das den Nutzen im Alltag stark einschränkt: Das Limit von nur einem Check-in pro Tag. Es ist für mich völlig unverständlich, warum selbst die "Plus-Check-ins" meiner L-Mitgliedschaft gegen dieses Tageslimit zählen. Das fühlt sich nach totaler Augenwischerei an. Was bringen mir zusätzliche Plus-Einheiten im Monat, wenn ich sie nicht dann nutzen kann, wann es in meinen Zeitplan passt? Mein Hauptproblem: Mein idealer Trainingstag sieht so aus, dass ich erst eine intensive Sporteinheit mache und später am Tag zur Entspannung (z. B. Yoga oder Wellness) gehe. Das ist aktuell unmöglich. Wenn ich morgens trainiere, ist mein Check-in verbraucht. Möchte ich abends noch regenerieren, stehe ich vor verschlossenen Türen. Es gibt auch keine Option, einen zweiten Check-in flexibel dazuzubuchen. Das führt dazu, dass ich an stressigen Tagen gar nicht erst gehe, weil ich mich zwischen Power-Workout und Entspannung entscheiden muss, anstatt beides in meinen Tagesablauf zu integrieren. Fazit: Die App wirbt mit Flexibilität, aber dieses starre Limit bewirkt genau das Gegenteil. Für Mitglieder, die Sport und Entspannung kombinieren wollen, ist das System leider extrem frustrierend. Außerdem bietet es die Möglichkeit, verschiedene Sportarten auszuprobieren, an die man sich sonst nicht herangetraut hätte .
