I try restarting both the IPad and the URC Base station and sometimes it works however it is usually for a short time before the problem reappears. It’s the CLUNK of this app. My god I’ve never used such an unoptimized app it’s honestly ridiculous. Hardware is good, app is AWFUL. I bought a house that had URC gear (very expensive) already installed so I’m forced to use it. Never had this problem with prior versions. In addition the app isn’t very responsive. This app is completely useless 95% of the time because if you can’t connect then you can’t use it. :-( ### 2/5 — Very buggy *2024-12-05, version 1.2.198* We’ve had so many issues with this app. It always gives us an error. It either says Your Total Control System was not Found or Error Connecting to Base Station. The only option (try again) does absolutely nothing to fix it. I always have to pay my provider to come out to fix the issue. In the meantime, I can’t use my tv. He was just here about two weeks ago and the problem is already back. This system has the potential to be great, but they need to work out all the kinks and road bumps. For example: Why can I not see all the devices in any of my iOS devices? Android devices can see them though…. That’s stupid and should be a simple fix. What’s with the delays? Always a delay. Then you have the frequent rebooting of the app. This should have all been worked out. I know the installers have been making them aware, but they play stupid very well and say they don’t know why it’s happening…. Have them re-boot app in phone…. All kinds of nonsense. Last thing, the new URC dimming light switches, Totally need to be back on the drawing board. But Mobile 2.5 is worse. They removed the old Rotary control for TV that enabled you to select menu or TV Guide! There’s always a glitch or failure and you have to constantly have technicians come out to fix the system that you dropped a ton of money on. This doesn’t bother me because my dealer made sure everything was done correctly. Love the fact I can do everything in one screen and see other rooms active in the system. URC makes amazing remotes and tablets super sleek and modern as well as super easy to use! There is literally nothing better right now! Get URC! URC if you’re reading this please add that we can add our own images that is the only thing I’m asking other than that I’m super happy! I even had Control4 , Savant and Crestron. Almost gave up until my dealer showed me URC and it just works!
