Your equipment will shutdown and they won’t allow it to restart until you buy another set of extremely overpriced service parts for a second time even though you already bought them. After a firmware update the VFD immediately blew up. Total junk and scam. ### 1/5 — This App is a Ransomware *2023-01-19, version 1.12* US Air Compressor is a total scam, they use this app to hold your compressor as hostage until you pay them ridiculous high amount of money to buy their low quality “service kit” every 2-3 months! Otherwise they will shutdown your compressor. Only reason I am seeing this is I purchased an air compressor three years ago and after a nightmare experience it finally locked up so hard it won’t function and isn’t worth repairing again. Support is nothing short of complete lies. The app never worked for me. The compressor finally worked once I installed an automation direct VFD to control the motor and bypassed all their electronics after 6 months of the compressor throttling itself and failing to perform. Once we retrofitted it with a new control it worked for a while but because of the cheap parts, cheap seals, and absolutely no support it failed. Buy from a reputable company. Steven Gilbertson is a liar. Bora is a liar. It’s an imported Turkish air compressor from komsan if I remember correctly and it’s junk that they pass off as American made, but they won’t put that in writing just lie to you over the phone. I wish I could leave negative stars.
