Moon phases were also reincorporated after missing from the earlier update. 👍 **Developer response:** Please update to latest version. This has been fixed. ### 4/5 — Rebuild has problem *2026-08-14* Have been using this app for years to know tide conditions at my favorite birding spot. The rebuild looks great but it seems to have incorrect times on the tide chart by about 3 or 4 hours. Currently it says low tide was at 9:57am and the “Now”’mark is just past it, but it is only 6:42 am now and low tide was actually some time around 5:40am. **Developer response:** Please update to latest version. This has been fixed. ### 2/5 — Updated app showing times in wrong time zone *2026-08-13* After the recent app update, the displayed times are 4 hours off. I am in EDT, but the times shown appear to be in GMT. The app correctly locates the nearest tide station, so it knows where I am, but it isn’t getting my correct local time zone. (My iPhone is running iOS 26.6, set to Automatic time zone and correctly reporting EDT.) **Developer response:** Please update to latest version. This has been fixed. ### 4/5 — iPhone Xs Support *2018-10-08* I love this app, this is by far my favorite Tide app, the only issue is it still has the old iPhone 6 resolution, it would be great if this app can support the New iPhone Xs & Xs Max ### 2/5 — Location required, or it doesn't work. *2018-08-14* This little iPad has location services turned on, but I am often out in the Great Wide Open where there is no WiFi. No, there is no GPS on this unit. App not working. I use my cell connection for a hotspot. I lost all my favorite stations. And now I have to have location services just to use it?? LS is great for 1st time set up. Zero reason to be mandatory... **Developer response:** In order for the app to display stations closest to your location it requires location services. We only require location service while the app is in the foreground. I use mine to track tides for fishing. I like the graph display as well as ability to enter future dates for planning fishing trips. No way to adjust in the app. Serious flaw. Renders the whole useless. ### 1/5 — New app is awful *2026-08-13* The old app worked just fine with a good display of local tide conditions. The new app has lousy charts, hard to read and worst of all completely inaccurate. Do not rely upon any information from the charts. **Developer response:** Please update to latest version. This has been fixed. ### 1/5 — Use to like it *2017-09-01* I really liked the graph view as I frequent a shallow bay that needs a 6 foot tide to launch, and being able to change the date was great! Sadly the update to v5.0 has reduced the app to three blank screens and a pop up. **Developer response:** Not sure what the issue is. The tide chart is still there (top right icon when viewing tide data) and the date can be changed by tapping on the bottom left Date while viewing tide data. I love how it actually shows on a satellite map the actual location of where the tide station is so there is no more guesswork about its exact location. This helps find the closest tide station to you by GPS. I also love the graph form of the tide schedule and the ability to add the tide stations to my 'favorites'.
