The paper delivery person has not received it by the needed time, and he delivers both our local Rock Hill Herald and the Wall Street Journal. Yours is the only paper that fails to make the needed time, so we often get it the second day…along with the “new” next day version. Now, I’m fully comfortable with the electronic edition. I usually print the sudoku puzzle each day so that I can keep up my skills. ### 5/5 — Good as the print copy *2021-09-03, version 3.1.31* Was not sure it would be the same as the print but it’s just as good and gives me the details I look for, print copies are not always easy to find. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Repetitive stories *2021-08-20, version 3.1.31* There are too many repetitive stories and now USA Today is using pop up ads to try to get you to pay for access to additional stories, like about 30% of the ones on each page. In addition, they sneak in opinions thinly disguised as journalism. Their coverage is definitely left leaning, which I can deal with, but when they start printing stories that have been discredited by both sides, it gets annoying. For instance, the story about Elon Musk demanding to be CEO of an Apple/ Tesla combination has been denied by both parties, and their is no evidence that the conversation took place. Yet, USA continues to publish this story. One can only Goleen from this that they would like to display Musk in a bad light. Why don’t they publish repeatedly that Biden didn’t invite the inventor of the electric car to a White House meeting on Electric cars because Tesla is not a union shop? ### 2/5 — USA TODAY *2021-09-01, version 3.1.31* I read and reread my online daily and looked forward to updates. I enjoyed the tech section. I now rarely check the paper and even now pay to see a paper harder for me to read. Needless to say I do not like the new format. I would pay for the older format. I can see the editions in the menu but when I try to load them the screen just stays white. Will definitely update to 5-star once this has been addressed ### 4/5 — Great presentation keeps one informed with good overviews *2023-04-01* Visually a leader in providing eye pleasing hard copy papers. Online editions look good too. Adequately covers major news events though I sometimes see biased almost anti American reporting. Remember one article that made it sound like a vet who had his disability cut in half by the VA was a victim of an incentive VA, when in fact we who get free money from the American tax payer know a felony conviction terminates all benefits. Some benefits are not permanent and require a minimal effort to get that free taxpayer money, example PTSD. PTSD often needs mental support to prevent suicides. If an individual declares himself fit enough to forgo treatment then clearly he isn’t 100 percent disabled. It is clear to me that good reporting costs too much money which is why we get substandard efforts. I mean look at the crap that is on 60 minutes now. ### 4/5 — USA Review *2021-04-15, version 3.1.31* I enjoy the USA Today and feel the publication does a good job of being objective in its reporting. I want news that challenges my beliefs, or at least gives me the opportunity to consider all sides of the issues. Unfortunately, I know the far right feels the USA Today is a liberal newspaper. But the far right does not believe any news unless it comes from Fox News. I think USA Today could be more current on some of their reporting (both news and sports). I shouldn’t have to wait until Tuesday or Wednesday to see who won or lost on Sunday. And why must we have a 3 day issue when there is a holiday on Monday?
