The new app cannot be downloaded from the Apple Store. ### 1/5 — Doesn’t work *2023-11-27* I’ve used this app for years as a very helpful tool. It stopped working, so I performed the latest update. Still not able to tell me anything. When you click the tab to do anything, it takes you to a unusable browser page. ### 1/5 — Updated version is inferior *2023-09-08* Not sure what happened but the app took a turn for the worse. Not very useful anymore, it just directs you to the web. The update pretty much the user interface. Once you get to the water flow data you are on a website and there is no way to get back to the original opening menu. If you want to go back to the main menu you must kill the app and start over. It is obvious that the user testing was nil! Buttons to select specific reservoirs and rivers now scroll single file off the page. Can’t use landscape orientation for tabular data. SWPA, reservoir and river data provided by links to web, not within the app as before. No DO or water temp data summaries for reservoir releases. The only good thing is that “news” is again available. ## Most praised reviews (9 highest-rated) ### 5/5 — Extremely Helpful! *2019-05-31* Going through a natural disaster like our state is going through now all along the Arkansas River this App has been extremely helpful. We are getting the most accurate information in real time. And have been able to track flooding in our local area with great precision with upstream data as well as downstream output flow. The MKARKS portion is not at all stable and is not accessible more that it operates correctly. ### 2/5 — New version not so hot… *2023-08-09* I’ve used this app daily for years, it was fully functional and provided everything I and other users needed. Now a new version is missing features, forecast and other links are gone, and worse, the app is no longer compatible to iPad for horizontal viewing and wants to track location and personal info. Not cool!!!! I think we all understand fixing apps for security and functional issues or adding features. But completely redesigning a great app is a huge waste and a real down for regular users.
