This app allowed me to see the activity as my laptop has no LED indicators and it is actually better.
Free is Good - Pro not worth it
This is a great menu bar app to show a summary, but the Pro version brings very little for the price.
I was recommended this app as a less resource hungry version of iStat Menus, but it’s not comparable. The free version shows you CPU activity, memory usage, network activity and disk space used. All this is visible as tiny graphs from the menu bar, clicking this presents a summary screen with a little more detail.
I was expecting was to be able to click those graphs and see more detail such as which apps are using the CPU, network and network connections, but that’s just not here. You can see how memory, CPU and network has changed over time, again on tiny graphs, but there’s no detail.
There is a version 3 in the works and if this bring the ability to see metrics in much more detail it will be worth it as it’s a very well presented app.

Indicators are all white
Since the last update, the widgets are broken and show all white filling the whole graphic.
Looks nice, not perfect in execution
I have both the Mac and the iPhone version. They each can take a surprisingly long time to update on the status of their device. More significantly, the synch across iCloud seems flaky … sometimes one device shows outdated info on the other device for many hours. Documentation and in-app support is virtually non-existence. I am waiting on email support.
