## What is Usage Meter for SLT?

Usage Meter for SLT allows you to monitor your SLT broadband usage in near real-time across your iPhone, iPad, and Mac. The app features convenient widgets that let you check your data status directly from your Home Screen.

Your login credentials (username and password) are used solely to authenticate directly with SLT's servers to fetch your data usage information. These credentials are exchanged for a token and then stored securely on your device (using iOS/macOS Keychain) and are never transmitted to any third-party servers.

• Per-Widget Settings: You can now customize settings for each widget individually rather than applying them globally.

• Faster Loading: Implemented network caching to significantly speed up load times and reduce redundant data requests.

• iOS 18+ Icons: Added support for the new iOS 18+ Dark Mode and Tinted home screen app icons.

• Widget Polish: Improved widget layouts to properly fill space, added dummy data for the widget gallery, and fixed padding bugs. 

• Customization: Added a new setting to hide the connection status in widgets.

• Login Clarity: Clarified that phone number login is supported, while Google/Facebook logins are currently incompatible.

Note for iOS 16 and older: Due to under-the-hood architecture upgrades, users running iOS 16 or older will need to remove and re-add their widgets to the home screen.

• Your login tokens are now stored in the secure Keychain, keeping your info safe and syncing it across your Apple devices via iCloud. Once you log in on one device, you will be automatically logged in on all other devices using the same Apple ID.
• Behind the scenes, the app and widgets now automatically keep your session active, so you don't have to log in over and over.
• You can now toggle password visibility on the login screen to make typing a bit easier.
• Some quick visual cleanups to the Account screen.
