## What is usealong?

Usealong is a workplace carpooling app built for Lagos commuters.

Usealong connects employees at the same company who live along similar routes. Car owners (hosts) give colleagues (riders) a reliable daily ride to and from work through a simple monthly subscription.

Usealong is not a rideshare app, there are no random pickups, no surge pricing, no waiting for a driver to accept. When a rider subscribes to a host, that same host picks them up from the same spot every single workday for the entire month. Same person. Same place. Same time. Every day.
This consistency is everything when you are trying to get to work on time in Lagos traffic.

FOR HOSTS
You are not running a taxi service. You are simply taking a colleague who lives near you along on your existing daily commute. You pick up the same one or two people every morning, earn a steady monthly income from a drive you were already making, and never deal with last-minute trip requests or strangers.

FOR RIDERS
You get a dependable, affordable commute with someone from your workplace. No more scrambling for transport every morning. Your host knows your pickup spot, knows your schedule, and is already on their way.

TRUST BUILT IN FROM THE START
Every user is verified through their workplace, so you already know who you are commuting with. And because the relationship is monthly and consistent, hosts and riders naturally look out for each other,  the same way colleagues do.
