## What is Used Car Buying Guide?

A used car can look convincing at first glance, but the details determine whether it is a sensible purchase. Used Car Buying Guide takes you from the vehicle record through inspection and test drive to a clear, documented decision.

FOLLOW A GUIDED INSPECTION

Add a vehicle and work through a comprehensive checklist organised by topic. It covers documents and history, bodywork, tyres, brakes, suspension, engine bay, interior, driver-assistance systems, test drive, OBD diagnostics, and checks specific to electric and hybrid vehicles.

UNDERSTAND THE RISKS

For critical checks, the app explains why the item matters and what a poor result could mean or cost. Unanswered questions remain visible so that important checks are not forgotten during the viewing.

REACH A CLEAR DECISION

The assessment summarises strengths, risks, unanswered checks and recommended next steps. Record the asking price, mileage, VIN, inspection date and estimated repair costs alongside your findings.

KEEP USEFUL EVIDENCE

Add photos, captions, notes and optional transcribed voice notes. When the inspection is complete, create a readable PDF report and share or archive it with the system share sheet.

PRIVATE AND ACCOUNT-FREE

Vehicle records are stored locally on your device. No registration or user account is required for the core workflow. On supported devices, Apple Intelligence can optionally draft a neutral summary; otherwise the prepared text can be copied for use elsewhere.

Please note: The app supports your own assessment. It does not replace a professional vehicle inspection, legal advice or a guarantee of a vehicle’s condition.

### 5/5 — Great app

*2020-08-05*

Very thorough checklist app for a used car. Not absolutely everything translates between Europe and North America, but it still covers a LOT of real useful things that I would never think to consider when doing a test drive.

### 1/5 — Funktioniert nicht

*2015-06-04*

Leider lässt sich die App trotz IOS Version 7.1.2 nicht öffnen - somit war die App mit 1,99€ nicht kostenlos aber leider umsonst!
