### 5/5 — Review

*2012-05-10*

Helpful information in the rational, I am picking up some good info here. I am happy that there are people who make these question banks for us and help us pass. I hope they make money
on it, they deserve huge....

### 5/5 — Great Review App

*2012-04-23, version 1.0*

Great review for Step 2 or boards.

### 4/5 — Great, except for randomization, stats, and some broken questions...

*2012-04-13*

I bought the 800 Q set, and for some reason when they are randomized, the order misses some questions. Likewise, control over flagging and completed questions could be a bit better. Reason for loss of a star: broken questions on assigning condition to axis. Boo that.

### 5/5 — Great app

*2012-04-03*

Awesome. Just wish there were more questions on the free version!

### 5/5 — APN student

*2012-03-27, version 1.0*

Informative review with descriptive rationales. Very helpful.

### 5/5 — Lange q&a

*2012-03-23*

Really the best/only thorough thing out there.

### 5/5 — Excellent Questions

*2012-03-21*

Great to have them in computer format because that is how boards are given.

### 5/5 — Good questions

*2012-03-20, version 1.0*

And free

### 5/5 — Abc

*2012-02-20*

Very good questions

### 5/5 — Medstudent love

*2012-02-05*

Great app and invaluable for NOT needing wifi/service - meant I could still work on questions in black holes of hospital with no service. Really recommend!

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Fix the Axis I - V diagnoses

*2014-10-16, version 2*

Any question involving the axis diagnoses are all wrong. No matter what answer you choose the answer is wrong! This should be a simple fix.

### 2/5 — Missed opportunity

*2020-10-01, version 6.8.4625*

Good at times, lots of glitches, some content is weak and some questions don’t make sense. Foe the price it is a rip off and a serious missed opportunity. A little editing and some bug fixes and it could be a great app.

### 3/5 — Disappointed

*2017-04-23*

Not all questions updated to DSM 5. A major flaw. Would not have purchased if I knew this.

### 3/5 — Pretty good, but could be better

*2015-04-28*

I wish there was better review options. For example, it would be great to go back and review previous question sets after you complete them rather than just being able to see you're score. Also filtering questions you've already done into wrong or right. Great app overall and wonderful questions! Thanks.

### 3/5 — Overall helpful, but overrated. Some cons - text size, certain Qs

*2012-05-14, version 1.0*

There are some cons - the inability to change text size (the "help" menu indicates that this is possible, but the option does not exist when you actually go to look in the specified location), and some questions don't seem to have a right answer?

There are some questions (ex: the axis I-V questions where you have to choose which axis the diagnosis is under) on which the answer gets marked as wrong but no right answer is marked and there is no explanation. Usually when you get a question wrong, your answer is marked red and the correct answer is marked green; regardless of your answer, you get an explanation of the right vs wrong answers.

It is overpriced if you buy all the questions via in-app purchase - seriously, $39.99? That's ridiculous.

tl;dr - I like this app. It is useful and helpful for studying for the shelf exam for psychiatry (MS3). There are some problems with it. It is overpriced if you get all the questions via in-app purchase.

### 4/5 — Some Questions don't work

*2014-06-12*

Axis questions don't show answers and never show as correct. Kind of throws off your score. Otherwise a good q bank.

### 4/5 — Good content

*2013-08-29*

Good content for shelf, better format than the text book, a lil on the expensive side.

### 4/5 — Medical student

*2012-07-11, version 1.0*

It is an excellent site for quick review

### 4/5 — Excellent

*2012-06-20, version 1.0*

Very good app. Questions are well chosen with descriptive answers.

### 4/5 — Worthwhile

*2012-04-24*

It helps! Granted, not a ton of practice questions, but it's worth downloading for free and giving it a shot. Interface could use some polishing, but it works.

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Very helpful

*2019-05-16*

There are plenty of Flashcards and they cover a vast amount of information. Recommend for board studying.

**Developer response:** Thanks for the review!

### 5/5 — Great app

*2013-02-17*

Currently on my psych rotation. This app is great for review and learning! Also, it's free! Who can complain?

### 5/5 — Great Q bank

*2013-02-17, version 1.0*

Very stimulating psych questions!

### 5/5 — Great FREE source

*2012-12-21*

I love using practice questions for exam prep. The sample Qs provided hit a little bit of everything :-)

### 5/5 — Really good Psych questions

*2012-09-19*

This book along with PreTest is about all you need in reference to question sets for the shelf. Outside of question sets, your patients and possibly (but not necessarily) Case Files will fill in and complete the picture of your overall Psych rotation studies.

### 5/5 — Really high yield.

*2012-08-16*

As a recent graduate from residency this was great to keep me sharp!

### 5/5 — Best iPad study companion for Psych MS3

*2012-07-28*

After reviewing the other iPad Psych apps, this app in the updated free version, provides a good overview of psych related topics in short but concise and to the point Q and A format. It seems to be geared perfectly for MS3 Psych.

### 5/5 — Good resource

*2012-07-01*

Excellent questions, relevant for the boards, software is easy to navigate, totally worth it !! Highly recommended !!
