### 5/5 — Topshelf app

*2011-02-21, version 1.0*

This is so handy for jumper, students, and instructors looking for a quick reference

### 5/5 — GREAT APP!!

*2011-02-16, version 1.0*

I absolutely love this app. This is the best and certainly most handy app that is available for skydiving on the app store. Not only is this great for students getting their license, but also for experienced skydivers looking to work on an advanced skill. No more bringing that huge book to the drop zone!

I love the quick reference sections that take me straight to the most commonly used pages. This is the best feature - who can ever remember that license requirements are in Section 3-1? And now I never have to!

This is by far my favorite app to date!! And even better, it's free!! I'm recommending that all of my skydiving friends download this now!

### 5/5 — Brilliant

*2011-02-15, version 1.0*

Normally a big fat book I don't want to spend jump $ on or lug around in my gear bag. Now it weighs as much as my iPhone and is free. This jumper could not be more pleased.

### 5/5 — About Time!

*2011-02-15, version 1.0*

This is a great tool to have on the phone. Easy to find topics and the reference section is a big help.

### 1/5 — Big Disappointment

*2025-06-09, version 2.0*

In theory, this would be an awesome app. However, the images / diagrams don’t load.
Example: the SIM has an illustration under the heading of the “Basics of a Rig” — but in the app version, there is no illustration showing the locations of primary points on a skydiver's rig.
In fact, none of these appear in the app.
I’ve deleted the app, confirmed my iOS is current, restarted my device, downloaded it again and still nothing.
I checked with other users and they have the same issue.
What’s up with that?

### 1/5 — Bad

*2021-08-05, version 2.0*

Awfully designed app, navigation is terrible and this is just a glorified PDF file, so navigation is the one thing that should work well.

### 1/5 — Horrid app that's an embarrassment to skydivers.

*2021-07-30, version 2.0*

Easily one of the WORST apps i've used. Navigation is cumbersome at best, unusable most of the time. (Try navigating to section 7-2, it doesn't even show up). Search is completely non-functional. Just download a .pdf copy, it is way more functional! Or better yet, USPA should offer the SIM, and IRM via Kindle or other e-reader and forego the app all together.

### 3/5 — Needs to be searchable

*2012-01-18, version 1.1*

Not really an app - its just a text document.... Why no search function? That is the main advantage of an electronic document.

### 3/5 — Good Start

*2011-02-18, version 1.0*

This would be way better for the iPad.
Waiting for the IRM.

### 4/5 — Not exactly an iPad app

*2011-08-15, version 1.1*

Saw the app advertised on the USPA website and that it was advertised as an iPad app. It's more for the phone but still awesome to have and even cooler that it's free without annoying ad's within it! look forward to a legit iPad one to be offered!

### 4/5 — Excellent, but missing a search function

*2011-05-19, version 1.1*

An IRM version of this would be nice, but more importantly, a search function for the SIM.

### 4/5 — Needs search function

*2011-04-17, version 1.1*

Other than that a SIM is a SIM.

### 5/5 — Awesome!

*2020-08-27, version 2.0*

As a student skydiver who is pushing forward to “A”, this is an awesome mobile study guide!

### 5/5 — Helpful to have

*2012-08-07, version 1.1*

Used the app more than once. Came in handy when studying for my C license test. Easy to use.
Thanks USPA.

### 5/5 — Great

*2011-11-15*

Best it has all pim's in it

### 5/5 — n00bs

*2011-11-14, version 1.1*

As a definite n00b to the sport, having this syllabus on hand is amazing. It's perfect for all those times I'm randomly thinking about skydiving during "real life" time (often).

### 5/5 — Awesome

*2011-07-11, version 1.1*

All the information I need and always with me. Oh and it's FREE! 

### 5/5 — Very cool!

*2011-06-14, version 1.1*

Now I always have the SIM with me! Thanks USPA! :^)

### 5/5 — Very convenient

*2011-05-08, version 1.1*

Not only the SIM in your pocket, but is nice to have quick references (separately) to license requirements, info AFF students will need, and what sections to study for license exams...among other things. Very nice!

### 5/5 — Well made app!

*2011-03-10, version 1.1*

Cannot wait for iPad app!
The book is so fast to search in this format. Very well made!

### 5/5 — Great reference!

*2011-03-04, version 1.1*

I'm glad to see that USPA made this app! It's VERY easy to navigate and has all the info us students need!

### 5/5 — So easy

*2011-03-04, version 1.1*

I was very happy to see USPA made the SIM an iPhone/iTouch app. I was about to buy the big, heavy book to lug around.
