Here are 3 big things: 1. When the service is high demand, I find myself pressing the “tap to retry” button for up to about 10 minutes until I find a ride, if they could add something that does that automatically for you, like “retry until you find a ride” it would be a lot easier and I wouldn’t have to set up an auto clicker on my phone. 2. When you book a ride it offers a “book return” but when you press on it, it pretty much just takes you out of it after maybe 5 seconds (I think cause it’s navigating to the driver you just booked) so please fix the book return feature. 3. Please if possible, try to make a feature where you can book ahead of time by maybe an hour or 2 just to make things smoother for everyone. ### 2/5 — Awful driver training *2026-07-18, version 4.27.1* I swear every single time I book a ride my drivers show up way too early or 15 minutes late. And then they don’t even have the courtesy to wait until the scheduled time before driving off and charging me a no show fee. They need to properly train they’re employees and have a required IQ test apparently because they also don’t know which house to show up at and half the time “don’t see me” because they’re at the wrong address. They get the 2 stars purely because it’s cheap as hell ### 1/5 — Scam *2026-04-06, version 4.26.10* Asks for credit card details before making an account, no excuse ### 1/5 — Stop giving rides I book to others *2026-03-25, version 4.26.10* So many times when I hit book this ride, while it is processing the book, instead of getting the ride I am booted out of it saying uta is busy despite the fact that it already gave me an option to book ### 1/5 — SUPER confusing *2026-03-25, version 4.26.10* I just barely downloaded this app to be ready to start taking the front runner. I was trying to see how much a ticket would be from the Provo Central Station to North Temple would be, but it keeps saying that my drop off location is out of the service zone??? I’ve had so many times where I will be trying to get a ride and absolutely none will appear for quite some time. Also I have had so many times where I book a ride and while it’s processing my request, the ride becomes unavailable despite the fact that i already booked it ### 2/5 — Crazy drivers and Time *2025-12-23, version 4.22.2* I’ve been using UTA Demand since September to go to work since I can’t drive yet, I have work early in the morning and depend on UTA to get there, I hadn’t had any problems until recently when I’ll get a ride saying it’ll be there in 18 minutes but in reality it never comes and I’ve been late because of it, not to mention the drivers drive extremely fast and makes me feel unsafe, I was trying to get into my account but now it won’t let me. If you manage to get a ride expect a 10 minute delay or more, Honestly horrible ### 1/5 — Bad app *2025-12-18, version 4.22.2* This app is horrible. I wanted to use it to purchase trax passes, but choosing my destinations is the worst! It doesn't even show the train route on the map. AND half the time it says out of zone anyway so I can't select my stop when I do manage to find it on the horrible map. It should be so much easier to just pick a route on a map that actually shows the train route, but for some reason that isn't an option. It always says out of zone. ### 1/5 — Terrible *2025-10-24, version 4.22.2* I just wanted to buy front runner tickets and it's horrible to use and navigate ### 1/5 — Way too many problems *2025-09-25, version 4.22.2* Takes too long to even offer me a ride, when they do offer one it cancels it while processing the request, takes way too long to get to where I’m at, will not get any higher rating until I can request a ride and it immediately lets me book a ride and doesn’t cancel it ### 3/5 — it’s wonderful for getting around town but the app itself is a bit buggy *2025-09-23, version 4.22.2* i love the access to public transportation in my town! i can’t drive so it’s been so incredibly helpful to have, my only issue is the app is a bit buggy in some ways like how i haven’t been able to see that i have a card connected to my account (i do) but the app likes to show that i don’t. i’ve been able to get on all of my rides and haven’t had too many issues but it still stresses me out a bit. otherwise things seem to work pretty good for the most part! i will always take this bus to get around town though! it’s been a miracle! :) ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — This is ridiculous *2026-08-20, version 4.29.1* The ride was 2mins away and they suddenly switched me to a ride that’s 45mins away from my pickup location. Not to mention I was waiting for the first ride for 40mins already. This is insane and I absolutely hate Utah transit refuse to build bus line yet can’t even do well in a simple share ride app. ### 1/5 — Be warned! *2026-08-14, version 4.29.1* The app won’t let you buy a ticket outside of the area you’re in. I tried to go from Daybreak to City Creek and it wouldn’t let me. It’s a third party app not affiliated with UTA. Any money you initially charge your account with won’t be refunded for 3-7 business days. Just buy an All Day Pass at the kiosk. ### 1/5 — Issues with drivers. *2026-07-30, version 4.27.1* I wanna call out specifically Valentina. Everytime a ride gets booked with her, she’s late, doesn’t show, or pulls in close to the pick up location and says I was a no show. Most recently I watched her pull into a drive thru before marking me as a no show and charging me additional money. Most everyone else is good, but she sucks.
