## What is Utah Circles?

Utah Circles is where Utah gets together. Browse what's happening near you, find the people already doing the thing you've been meaning to try, and keep the conversation going after the event ends.

EVENTS

Browse an events feed tuned to where you are, or switch to the map to see what's happening nearby. Every event has the details that actually matter: when, where, who's organizing, and who's already going. RSVP in a tap. If an event is full, join the waitlist and you'll be moved up automatically when a spot opens. Save the ones you're still deciding on.

Organizing something yourself is just as quick. Create an event, set a capacity, choose whether anyone can join or whether you approve each request, and bring in co-organizers to help you run it. Recurring meetups can be set up as a series instead of being posted one at a time.

CIRCLES

Events are easier to find when you're already in the right circle. Circles gather people around a shared interest: trail runners, board gamers, new parents, birders. Some are open to anyone, some are request-to-join, and some are invite-only with a private link you share yourself. Circle organizers can assign roles and manage membership as the circle grows.

CHAT

Every circle gets rooms for realtime conversation. Reply in threads, react, pin the message everyone keeps scrolling back to, mention someone directly, and share photos. You can see who's around and who's typing, and unread state follows you across devices.

STAY IN THE LOOP

A single inbox collects the things addressed to you: invitations, join requests, replies, mentions, and event reminders, so nothing gets lost. Notification settings are per-category, so you can keep the reminders and mute the rest.

BUILT FOR UTAH

Utah Circles is focused on one state on purpose. Search covers events, circles, and people at once, and results are ranked around where you actually are rather than a national feed you have to filter down.

You control your presence: set your profile, block anyone you'd rather not hear from, report content that breaks the rules, and delete your account and its data from Settings whenever you want.

Utah Circles is free, has no ads, and asks for nothing you don't need to give. Questions or ideas: hello@utahcircles.com.

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 1.0.9 — 2026-09-29

Fixes and polish:
• Editing an event's cost, capacity or age range no longer closes the app.
• Fixed a problem that could sign you out. Tapping a notification opens its chat or event again.
• Paid events no longer show as Free, and events that end on a later day keep their end date.
• The map keeps your view and groups events at the same spot. Near me explains when location access is off.
• Editing your profile no longer crashes on emoji-heavy links or clears a long bio.
• An invite link opened while signed out now explains what to do and is kept for 24 hours.
• Chat no longer jumps back in history after you visit Room info.
• Better contrast, better layouts at large text sizes, and less memory used by images.

### 1.0.8 — 2026-09-21

Redesigned chat. The conversation list and chat screen have a cleaner, faster layout that feels at home on iOS.

Swipe to reply is smoother. The message row now releases as soon as you lift your finger instead of lagging behind.

### 1.0.7 — 2026-09-17

Fixes and polish:
• Tapping a notification now opens the chat or event it came from.
• Replying in a chat puts the cursor in the message box right away.
• Event pages refresh the guest list as soon as you change your RSVP.
• Search and circle pages now show upcoming events only.
• Confirmation prompts are easier to read.
• Picking a cover photo keeps your place in the form.
• Smaller layout and label fixes throughout.

### 1.0.6 — 2026-09-15

Fixes the message bar spilling off the sides of the screen when a longer message wraps onto a second line — which also pushed the Send button out of reach.

### 1.0.5 — 2026-09-14

A visual polish pass across the whole app.

• Dark mode: buttons and empty-state actions that could look blank now have full contrast
• Event cards keep their layout when a venue name or address runs long
• Avatars and cover photos no longer flash placeholders when you scroll back through a list
• Screens open looking the way they should, instead of correcting themselves a moment later
• Chat opens on the newest message, and the composer stays clear of the keyboard
• Search results are no longer hidden behind the keyboard
• Launch screen now matches the app background in both light and dark
