Bei den meisten Apps in der Preiskategorie kann man mittlerweile eigene Vokabeln per Foto hochladen und lernen. Das funktioniert hier leider noch nicht. Ich hoffe, die App wird noch erweitert? Dafür gibt es von mir leider 2 Punkte Abzug. Ansonsten finde ich die App und ihr handling sehr gut. Die Aussprache der vorgegeben Vokabeln ist an sich sehr gelungen gestaltet. Und die Steuerung über Kacheln ist für Kinder gut machbar.

It was good at first, very nice style and easy to use. Good vocabulary and pronunciation for words, but everything is paid after :( . Im trying to learn dari for my grandparents and there are no free resources for me to use. I thought this app would finally help me but its just like the others, always wanting money.

**Developer response:** This app gives everyone 26 free words and phrases in all 160 languages. By playing the games, you can also unlock a sizeable amount of more free content.  But, after that, we do ask people to pay because, like schools need to pay teachers, we need to pay our language experts. We hope you understand.🙏

This was a nice app but they’ve made some unfortunate changes lately. The latest update is pointless and annoying.  It appears to be a move towards gamification and away from vocabulary training. It’s sad to see a good app go the way of cheap AI bells and whistles.

In the past, support services were very helpful but they now appear to be nonexistent.

I have to log in to my account every time I open the app. Why doesn't it keep me logged in? It’s very inconvenient.

For the record, you should remain logged in for six months after you last used the app and we haven’t had any other reports of people being logged out like this. **Developer response:** We appreciate your (mainly positive) review and hear what you’re saying about our memory game.  But, although it appears to be testing your memory of card placement, its real purpose is to get you thinking in your new language.  That’s because you’re much more likely to get full marks by instantly linking the images to words and phrases in your target language rather than first translating them in your head.  In fact, many of our learners start off hating this game and then go on to love it when they see the results it gives them.  That said, we understand that we all have different learning styles and we wish you lots of success learning the way that works best for you. 💯

I’ve been using it for a while now, the lessons are fun and useful.
I love the interactive exercises and how they help me practice vocabulary in real life situations

Dziękuję bardzo. Używałam już kilku aplikacji do nauki języków. uTalk jak narazie najbardziej mi się podoba. Wybrałam ja ponieważ trudno było mi znaleźć Litewski. Prawie nikt go nie oferuje i cieszę się, że na te apke wpadłam, bo bardzo podoba mi się koncept z ćwiczeniami i zbieraniem punktów. Dla mnie to bardzo motywujące!

Изучение языка платное по подписке, узнаешь об этом только создав акаунта. Удалить аккаунт не просто. Перекидывает со страницы на страницу. Удалить не получилось.

For clarity, we do offer 26 free words and phrases in every language (called Free Starter Words) and by playing the Starter Words games you can earn uCoins to unlock some more free content.  You are also very welcome to access the app’s Free Starter Words without making an account but, if you don’t have an account, you will not be able to save your progress or save any free uCoins that you might earn. Finally, if you have subscribed to the app, you can easily cancel your subscription by using the same pathway you took to take out your subscription.  For instance, if you subscribed through the App Store then you need to cancel through the App Store. But the people at support@utalk.com will be able to help you with all of this if needed. At first I paid for the regular Kinyarwanda app $10 now it’s wanting me to pay $70 for this app to learn full Kinyarwanda?? Crazy

Our value app is called uTalk Classic which includes three games and helps you learn 250 words and phrases. But we also have our bestselling uTalk app which includes five games, helps you learn 2,500 words and phrases and gives you access to an in-app phrasebook. It sounds as though, because you’d bought our Classic, we thought you might like to hear about our premium app but we understand it doesn’t fit your needs and we're sorry to have bothered you. This app has two great uses: communicating with immigrant and refugee populations and reviving dwindling languages. 
In my city, students speak 160 languages, including languages not covered by DuoLingo, so an app that has 150 languages covers a lot of them.
This is the best app for reviving a language where the number of speakers is dwindling. Students just recently learned the importance of caring about vulnerable languages, and this is an easy-to-understand way to learn, preserve, and encourage others to learn a language with few speakers. It may end up being a curiosity experience more than leading to a job (though it’s possible to fill rare vacancies), but the opportunity to learn is something language enthusiasts should cherish.

The image association games help me learn fast. I really wish it showed the spelling of the word when the word is spoken. This would really help with the pronunciation. Also I wish there were some sort of progress bar. Like how many word have I learned so far.
